Now I have a SX I finally got to give this a go.

Maiden flight consisted of starting at the Dome in London then heading to my house, practicing landing/taking off in a few fields, then taking the starter plane upto 13000 feet & flew through a few clouds across the channel to France while attempting loop da loops.

Before I knew it, it was 2am :)

Nice! Any glitching, hitting invisible buildings/solid clouds at 20000 feet or massive moats running through runways?

If not, maybe it's time for me to try this game again hahaha

No invisible buildings yet, not been higher than 13000 feet so no solid clouds, however I have noticed patches of water covering a few roads & motorways.

So, just now I flew over Brisbane and it was just fine.

Straight after, I went to Melbourne and it started to stutter badly, to a point where the game froze (the sound kept going in the background, but the image kept static) and I had to force it to shut down.

Restarted the game, set up the same flight again over Melbourne (between two stadiums) and there was no stutter whatsoever.

Make if that what you will...

Whenever I have the opportunity, I'll try something else I read on reddit, which was to turn off "Rolling Cache" altogether.

I'm still testing some stuff and will get back to you with any findings, but at the moment I have none and the game is running smooth apart from some very slight stuttering at the start of a flight from Tokyo.

Are you playing on PC or on XBOX?

I sorted my problems with the rudder out by basically doing nothing.

All I had to do was apply my settings again and it was good.

Very impressed with the Australia update very much looking forward to Spain / Portugal.

Xbox Series X.

Looking forward to the Iberian update as well. Hopefully one or two Portuguese cities will be included in the update.
OK. I´m also on Series X. Don´t know if you have tried it yet, but I found that the game runs significantly better when not quick resuming, but booting fresh.

I´ve made it a habit to always force quit whenever I´m done.

Yes, I've noticed that, too. Thanks.

However, the experience I described above was after a fresh boot as well. Meaning that after just 10 minutes of fresh-booting the game (and flying over Brisbane) I started to experience stuttering on the very next flight (Melbourne).

Lovely 2 and a half hour flight from Seattle to Anchorage in Alaska with real time weather had me leaving in glorious sunshine in the wonderful F-16, arrived in less than glorious weather and some angry storms to fly through.. plane was getting battered which made landing rather interesting 😂😂

I’m not impressed by Asobo Studios to put it lightly. Installed the Australia update today and I could immediately conclude that the game still stutters massively on my Series X. I turned it off within five minutes, although I really want to play this game. Nightmare, and I may very well never buy another Xbox because of it. Meanwhile, relatives of mine own the game on Series S, and they have no problems with FS at all. :irked:

I installed the Sim Update VIII (beta) this morning and have been playing around with it since.

Things are looking good so far. Everything's been silky smooth, including the Melbourne flight I mentioned earlier.

EDIT:

Came back to the game in the afternoon, booted from Quick Resume, and everything's still fine.

World updates shouldn’t contain as many fixes (or any to my knowledge) as sim updates.

Turns out that it's more difficult to land at Fuji International Speedway than I first anticipated.

Edit: 1 lap of Fuji complete :)

I will do a lap of all the most well known racing tracks in a plane, including the Nurburgring :)
We're gonna need some video of that..

Interesting, because just today I went and visited a couple of race tracks myself.

Mount Panorama:

Also, it was a beautiful sunset at Algarve today so I went to Portimão to visit the AIA:

Bathurst looks alright in that screenshot but Fuji was like an abandoned racetrack with grass all over the track.
Yes, it looks nice.

And it's actually marked in the world globe as a point of interested. I just don't know if it was already like this before this latest Australian World Update.

AIA also looks very nice, to be honest. Especially considering how Portugal, in general, is so poorly mapped.

ATL-LGA this morning :)

I'm in awe of how amazing this sim looks. I'd never think it was going to turn out to be this pretty when I saw the early release videos of it and every time I fly it just gets better and better. Hopefully the PMDG 37 comes out in the next month, I'm about done with the Airbus life and want to go back to some Boeing.

Just had 6 world updates on the SX, but London now looks messed up with all the buildings & roads looking melted, it wasn't like that before the update.

I've just deleted the whole UK world update & re-installing it to see if it fixes it.

Edit: sorted, something must have gone wrong the first time.

My first attempt driving the Nordschleife didn't go well
