Looking at the times, we may end up doing the wildcard race on Sunday at 2pm EST, then doing the Laguna race at 3pm EST. Will kind of suck for the person that advances to race so much, but there's not much else we can do.

I doubt ill win but if I keep in top 5 id be mighty happy but you never know the track could suit me and others could have dramas on track .

Well I live in a place where it's normally 110+ degrees Fahrenheit during the summer, so no...not usually. Although our low tonight is around 29 degrees, which is pretty cold for this area. The mountains around us got some snow over the weekend, but obviously nothing in town.

Online for fun I did some laps, low 35. On a lucky lap.

Edit: On a really lucky lap that I crashed on, I was up a +1.0XX before the corkscrew with my best times past there I would say maybe I could do a low 34 with practice.

Anyway, I've been jotting down ideas for Season 4 over the past week and I think you guys will like what I have come up with. (some of you anyway...) It's quite different from what we've been doing. Also, the Hard Dog Challenge I was speaking of has changed as well. We will not be running the stock '07 MX-5's as I had originally planned.

The biggest change is that the "FMSC" designation will cover the whole thing, not just one series. Each of them will now carry their own specific name.

I was thinking maybe mule could put on a B championship race at the same time the A race is running, we would probably have a pretty good showing for this.

If someone could pick a song and add photos and video clips from this series to run over it and maybe a title card or two: 48 drivers... from 8 different countries, six events... to crown one champion... Flying Miata presents the..., I could get that video in front of the right people at Mazda and their advertising agency. It would be interesting if we could take things up a level with their support. I think I would ask them for a Skip Barber School prize or something. I mean, if I won a $1,000 Skip Barber certificate, I know that I would take the trip to one of their tracks and use it.

It's just about getting to the right people and being really turn-key and easy to work with. I know the right people, I just need something slick to present. Their email address are already in my contact list. Pointing them to this thread or the photos is putting too much of the work on them.

Okay that's a relief to know, sorry about the reaction, lots of work + lack of sleep do not culminate in me being nice, lol. Also thought that I'd gone through some very frustrating races for nothing, I'm sure you wouldn't be happy if it was yourself in that position

That would be awesome if you could. We're using a new logo for next season, so I'll have to get that to you in a bit. I was thinking the standard purple color for the face of the FMSC lettering, then chrome on the 3D edges. Then have the logo spinning over a plain black background.

I can get you the R/G/B color codes for the exact color too.
