Also, for people that still haven't "discovered" this. You can easily break in your car by sending it to be raced in B-spec races. The 200 mile Laguna endurance race works well. All you need to do is get it to 180 miles then do an oil change and you're done. Finally got around to doing that myself today. Although in my case it was four races in the Like the wind extreme Indy race.

Quick note to everyone: I may not make the first race as there's a possibility I will be moving at the end of the week. We may not have internet service set up at the new place until next week, so this is a heads up that Division 2 may need a host for the first race.

I'm moving this week too, lucked up and got a Satuday install date for my internet, so I'll be good to go on Sunday.

Go to your lounge, set up a 10 lap race or so and go solo. You'll get the miles and it forces you to run lap after lap through a tire run.

Just to throw this out there for the laziest of folk, I break my cars in by sending bob to the Indy 500, and quit after 75 laps.
186 miles needed, 75 laps at Indy gives you 187.5 miles.
Even just did it with a Fiat 500 at 134HP.

On my screen, the front three cars went off track twice, in perfect drafting formation. View set to the third car, but I was actually running 4th a couple of seconds back. You'll see my green car pass the three after the 2nd off track. Both times, these cars appeared to go off track, then reappeared right in front of me. My screen showed me in the lead the whole race until I crossed the finish line where it put me back to 3rd. Noticed this in one other session, but I didn't save the replay.

Is this lag in my connection? The host's? Or just wacky Sony server issues?

I'm getting exactly the same crap in Spyhunters rooms every time. Nothing like this in other rooms. So it is likely some issue specific to your connection to him.

It's really hard to say, usually you just follow the trail of who's having issues in every room, so it may not be you then, MCH. (MC Hammer?)

Yeah that's why I'm giving until the end of the week. He would be the main exception on that list. I don't have his official color, so it may not come out right if we do one for him.

Edit: not sure if my post earlier was missed, but if you guys start up a practice room and nethereal shows up, ask him if he's going to register for the series. I like having a competitive person in the practice rooms, but if he's not going to run the series I would rather those that are get the chance to run up front.

Also, been talking to my old boss at FM lately about racing simulators. He picked up a G27 today and is still deciding which way to go, GT5 or iRacing. He knows the pros/cons of each, but it's nice to see him getting into it. FM will also be providing some goodies for the championship winner. :tup:
