Nothing really fancy. They talked about reviving the Track Dog but it never happened.

Well the biggest question in my mind pertaining to GTA - Could you say that GT5/Sim racing experience translate to good results on track(Your own personal opinion)?

I'm not sure I have an answer for that. Everyone did well at Silverstone because almost everyone had track experience before they got there. Really hard to say.

There's always mixed opinions on this particular topic. I'm on the "yes" camp. I think that sim racing helps a person develop a thought process/critical thinking skill set to get faster - almost like a theory type of practice. That's not to say that the sim racing is anything close to real racing. It really really is not, IMO.

It certainly helps with learning driving lines, etc. I never once thought about what I should do in the car based on my gaming experience while I was there. Doesn't mean it didn't come into play though.

He was the reason that I tried All-Sport. Which turned out to one of the worst products ever created. A carbonated sports drink, what a horrible idea!

IMO, his 1987 IMSA RX-7 is still one of the sexiest tin-top racecars ever made.

How would everyone feel about running a formula gran turismo series? I know there were talks about one before on this forum but I'd like my buddies in the FMSC to race with. idk if I can organize it so I'm throwing out the idea here.

Your car isn't broken in yet. Fully broken in cars will be 389pp.

Not a big fan of the F1 cars in GT5... I think I might try to keep the Targa Toscana alive, if I can work out the logistics (in other words, not run it all by my lonesome).

If someone wants to run it, I kept all the forum code for both posts, so all you'll have to do is copy and paste.

Another thing I'm looking at, when I went through my PSN friends list last night, some of our main guys haven't been on in a LONG time. SAMHAIN and Egghead haven't even been on PSN for over 40+ days. Same goes for a couple others I can't remember.

Like many others, after PSN went down real life got in the way.
Just set everything back up tonight so I'm going to shake the cobwebs off and see if can not embarrass myself and actually qualify for Sunday's race.

See Turbo Man!!! Everyone's getting their ducks in a row and torquing their lugnuts because they are all ready to start racing!!! Can't you feel the excitement!?! Our Spec Miata points leader is going to be here to defend his lead and Wardez is ready to party party (because it's Wardez and partying is what he does)! Sam, the guy who wins the Spec Miata preseason race and qualifies second for Race 1 (then decides not to show up for the race ) might even make a return!
