I'm closing in on that time of your's there Fantomas, I have about a second left before I'm on the 1:27 range. Camber really helps on this track, I subtracted a second off my lap just by setting the camber, going to play around with the damper settings a little to try and get my time a little lower, then it's off to practicing without a braking line.

Corner entry speed is everything, even 1 mph over and you're off-track. This track has so many turns that you need to skate a razor edge of grip to either crack off a fast lap or have an off. For example you need to carry about 100mph through to the straight before the hairpin just to set a competitive time. Tough track to extract time out of!

Not to mention the first couple of turns. The first one you go high speed uphill, brake and if you brake until the line goes yellow, your too slow, but you can't go when it's too red either, or your off track. Then the second your again at high speeds. This time the turns lifts your car off the ground, so you have about as much grip as driving on ice. It's insane!

This is for all drivers.I think if you get in to the 27s, that's a fast time. In to the 28s, still fast , but at the end, don't worry about who is fast or slow. Always there will be a guy who got the same pace as you. Drive clean and have fun.

Congrats to all the Flyin' miata drivers, because there is a very small organized events who use this series settings, speciality not allowing the b.line. I am a member of a few communities and they have forza vets; let me tell you something, as soon you said something about the b.line or try to be turned off for some series, they start jumping, crying and screaming. That's why I Congrats you guys.

Don't forget, now antirroll bars and race differential are allow to install. Will post a tune tonight with the new parts included.

Thank you

Fantomas

Very important indeed Fantomas, I've gotta send out another big XBL message to make sure every one's on the same page with that.

Thanks Fantomas! That's true abotu the b. line being so prevelant among Forza drivers. I'm so proud of all of you sticking through it with us with the non-ABS locking up and b.line independance. That's just how FMSC rolls!

So guys, important news; I tried going through the replay and it's only half of the race. Since the other half of the race isn't there for me I wasn't able to collect results. Did anyone else save the replay and find the same thing happen? If you somehow have access to the full replay I'd appreciate if you could put it on your storefront for me to download so I can get the finishing positions and fastest laps.

Otherwise, if Forza's limited to 15 minutes of replay or something, I'm just going to have to make the Hockenheim race a pre-season round and start the series at Infineon.

That would make the series 7 rounds where only 5 rounds count toward the championship.

Yes, prequalifying is going to be more effecient in that only people qualifying can be on track, no practice along with qualifiers. I'll probably have someone else with a good connection set up a practice room to do runs with lots of people then I'll stay in the "qualifying room" helping people get their times set.

But it'll be same as last week, 15 minutes per session and you can only try once.

Thanks for asking JJ.

you need jedi concentration at that turn, when your line is perfect the tire should hardly squeal, i think i saw 103 through the apex on my best try. and just found out i have been shortshifting all along, the thing doesnt put out fullpower until its close to self detonation lol.

Infineon New tune include antirroll bars and Differential :

Camber -0.5/-0.5
Toe 0.1/-0.3
Caster 7.0
Antiroll B. 5/10

R.Height 4.9/4.9

Damping:
Rebound 11.0/11.9
Bump 2.0/1.0

Differential 1/99

yr bump damping is really low, and totally against the common wisdom, and thats almost a locked diff on brake! but you cant arge with lap times. Your way of tuning is much different from mine. :P into the 27 now, just need consistency.

Hi Wardez, just confirming my signup as #9 and keen-ness to race at Infineon. While i've done a fair bit of online racing through the standard forza 3 and 4 lobbies, i've never raced in an organised event before. How do I go about joining a room set-up by a "Capable Host" to do my qualifying session?

Thanks for your help and please excuse my newbness.

Hey guys,

Does anyone know if you can tune while practicing online? I'll be happy to host a practice room but I need to be able to tune as my car is not yet ready for infineon.

Hi Zed, thanks for asking. You're good with #9, all yours 👍

You're also good in the experience department. Even though you haven't got much I can tell just by the way you present yourself that you're a clean driver. Lol, don't ask how, but I can :D.

So getting into a qualifying session is easy. Shoot me and LMR DJFiisSHYPR a friend request. We're the only two people qualified to start sessions and observe your runs.

Only new rule that's changed from last week is that ONLY people that are qualifying may be allowed on track during sessions. If you'd like to run a free practice session with others, you'll have to create your own lobby with them.

Newbyness excused.

I need to head to work right now JJ so sorry can't help. But if DJ's on he might.

This is exactly what I was thinking. Common wisdom says thats wrong but you cant argue with the times. I think Im 1 second slower than your fastest on the leaderboards fantomaso

My tuning style is a little weird, but works. I always set rebound high (not less than 10) and bump low (no more than 3); with this settings, cars absorbs more easy the kerbs and bumps.

If you are in to the 27s, that's fast . I think the key in any racing style (rally,circuit,f1) , is Consistency.

Well picked, I like to keep things clean and leave enough room for others. Not sure if i'm quite up to the lap-times being discussed here but should be a lot of fun anyway. Here's a sneak peak of my car.

Provisional results!

Fantomas had the fastest lap since fastest race laps must be clean in order to get the point.

Crispychicken and I need a napkin both have the replays up on their storefronts.
