I'll try and join you guys sometime over the weekend for some action. The new update sounds like it's worth a try, and of course racing with you fellas is always a pleasure. Tbh, I haven't been doing much sim racing of late (my PC is all screwed up) and haven't really touched GT5 since Academy, so my excuses will be aplenty :lol: Rergardless, I'll try my best to get back into the groove of things as quickly as possible.

Awww man, my in-laws are in town this weekend for my boy's birthday (Happy 7th Kaden:D). But I might be able to race some tomorrow night. I haven't played any sims for a couple months, but I did a few races yesterday and my overall speed wasn't too bad, but my consistency was terrible! :lol:

I hope to see you guys out on the track. đź‘Ť
 
Awesome racing with you guys, will be in more often...since winter is coming, that means gaming time.

Can't wait to race on spa with the touring miatas. :drool:

Great runs last night guys! I was able to get back to 100%, take a win and poles and have some great battles with Gar (Android Racer :) ) now that my connection issues seem to be taken care of. I have reduced the room size to 12, reduced the audio quality, and no longer set the room to "fixed host status." It worked great.

Last race was trial mountain reverse, Rx7/ SH's. After having blinding pace in quali, only to have off's and kill my fast laps, I knew I had a shot at the win starting 2nd a tenth off pole, again behind gar. I got through and pulled a .7 gap in the lead, but again made another huge mistakes through the T1/T2 esses. Gar and GTPwrstDrvr battle it out in front while I claw my way back under pressure from SpecJSW. A well timed inside outside move saw me slingshot around Gar and Wrstdrvr to driver's left through the small tunnel and late brake in to the following left handed to claim the lead and pull 3 lengths through the start finish for an intense win! Great driving by Gar and WrstDrvr.

Sim racing sure is a blast when you have some great people in the room!

Forced had you in a shuffle lounge recently. Had a blast with you in there.

I think there was a few WSGTC guys in there too. Made for a stellar good time having talented clean racers doing shuffle races.

Anyway subscribed and will be sure to join in when possible.

I have a few pictures of the Trial Mountain race, but there is a white FD RX-7 in the mix (right before I died). :)

I'll try and be around sometimes, time difference will make it a bit harder but no biggie. Looking forward to some good lobbies, I might be able to pull some more EU guys in :).

What ? If you want to talk about jesus, why would you do it while gaming online at GT5 ?

My tip to the OP : Try Call of Duty, maybe you will have more chance. :D
 
Just so everyone knows, I will ABSOLUTELY be doing a Spec Racing Lobby at Spa for the whole night when it debuts in the U.S. So stay tuned!

And get some formula cars - F2007, F10 and Formula Gran Turismo!!! :)

Guys, just a reminder to save next Tuesday night for some good Spec battles at the Spa Francorchamp-ionships <---lol :)

I'll probably open up the lobby around 6:30PM Eastern Time and run it for 3-4 hours (my brain usually craps out around the 3 hour mark.)

Figure a mix of low hp cars to race cars from comfort softs to race hards. NOTE: Add a Corvette ZR-1. The car is SICK.

I may also consider shortening the qualfying time for these races, say just 1 or 2 laps versus 3 or 4, and lengthening the races by a lap to compensate.

Also, keep on the lookout for a recomended garage spec racing "series" that will start sometime in late November or December.

Thanks to all of my newer GT5 friends, you guys are great bunch and a welcome addition to the "Lobby Regulars." I will catch ya'll on Tuesday if not sooner!
