Didn't expect the V6 in the Raptor. But now I remember that Ford entered an F-150 in the Baja 1000 with the Ecoboost engine so you know that was preproduction testing.

Is the one shown still a concept version ? It looked abit too clean for a production version.

I don't see the word "concept" anywhere on the articles I've read, it might just be the production version of it. Or a really well kept production version, at least.

Late edit: Evo is calling it a concept... Who is right here?

It's probably still a concept, how it looks very close to production and apparently it will be launched next year! :dopey:
Can't wait for the nurburgring time. I don't think it would beat those hybrid supercars though....

Looks like the new GT will be a straight up rival for the upcoming 458 replacement and the McLaren 650S. Slightly bummed it wasn't a new Ecoboost V8 hybrid, but a twin turbo V6 will do nicely.

I see, couldn't have been more than the new GT I guess, unless Ford decide to turn the turbos up further.

How much does the regular GT350 make? Isn't it around 450?
Same power. In fact, the official numbers have not been announced so nobody knows yet.

Guess Ford really created this car with that goal in mind. The V6, the interior with that chunky but stalk free steering wheel and the layout all scream "modern junior supercar". The lack of a V8 is indeed a bit dissapointing, but I guess for a world supercar, you have to follow the rules of the game. Regardless, I can't wait to see how does it stack up to its rivals. The old GT was something good, but this is something else...

I won't expect insane times, probably somewhere in the range of the GT-R or the newer Porsche Turbo's
Don't get me wrong, that's definitely not slow, but not Porsche 918 fast :dopey:

Good God i still can't believe i'm looking at pictures of a new Ford GT...

Join the boat buddy, pretty sure many are still rubbing their eyes, thinking that all this cannot be more than a dream (including this guy)...

Hey, if it can keep up with GT-Rs, Mclarens and Porsches without falling to pieces, I am fine and dandy about it not being as fast as a 918. 👍

And on the 12th of the first month of the new year did Ford silence the doubters with the revealation of the GT.

And then all the European representatives stood up, looked at Ford's car and proclaimed the infamous words:

"We really need to be careful with these guys... They just stepped up their game to new levels."

I hope it make those european supercar makers scared that the legacy of GT40 50 years ago will come to life again lol

The Raptor looks fantastic but not impressed they dropped the 6.2L.
