Felony depends on a few factors. It's going to be a misdemeanor most likely and a few points on their licenses, though.

They'll probably lose their jobs at worst than jail time.

As with every car thread, I think it's time the title received an update. The car has been revealed already, and they won at Le Mans.

Ah yes, Glenwood Canyon. One of my favorite places. (when car sized boulders are not raining down on you)

@Slash

Same thing happens on the way to San Deigo through the I-8, it's a great time to be alive when boulders the size of semi's are some how clung to mountains via friction alone!!!

This happened several years ago the same day I had to drive to Denver to pick up my Mom from the airport. We were stuck in the canyon for a few hours.

Yeah those look like semi truck sized rocks, I always get nervous driving through canyon ways and mountain sides...probably not a good thing I live in Arizona. I saw a video of the rock slide as well, scary stuff, but I guess it makes for good testing for Ford.

Live stream tomorrow of one of the first production GT's rolling off the assembly line. 11:00am EST.

Edit: Tried to embed it and it's asking for a log-in. Then tried to link it, same thing. Anyone else having that issue?

Edit 2: Just go to the Ford Performance FB page. :P

Can confirm. Facebook is cancer.

Just wondering what the results would have been if Ford did the test with a 488 GTB and a 675 LT?

The Calabogie test was done with a 675LT according to the article.
The truest test of a car’s performance is when it’s pitted against its rivals around a track. So let’s take the Ferrari 458 Speciale and the McLaren 675LT. When you look at the times around Canada’s Calabogie Motorsports Park—admittedly, a very specific test—the new Ford GT takes their lunch money:

  • Ford GT: 2:09.80
  • McLaren 675LT: 2:10.88
  • Ferrari 458 Speciale: 2:12.90

It would be a 585 PP car in GT6, competitive in the 600PP "non racing"class, hey PD how about a parting gift for the loyal?

For the rest of us, 3173 kg is 1440 kilos, which does seem quite heavy. Reminds me of the Jaguar F-Type; a car supposedly made from lighter materials that doesn't weigh any less than what you'd expect if it wasn't.
