Am I the only one wondering what game is gonna be the first to have this in it?

Well, since you asked, I'll say it's a tricky answer. Forza got the SRT Viper first, but Gran Turismo answered back by including the C7 Corvette's test version, followed by them including the production version as the cover car of GT6. And then there's the fact that Kaz does own a Ford GT...

About this, I really like the new GT. Sure, some details aren't that particulary original, but the car looks very sleek and agressive. Despite the lack of a V8, I can understand Ford's choice, since they probably went with that to a)comply with emssion laws and b)enter the GTE class with it. Now all there's left is too see how will it do against the (tough) competition.

I have to say that I'm surprised they went with a Twin Turbo V6, I really was expecting the 5.2L V8 that was used in the Shelby GT350.

As for the styling, I like the front, but the rear may take some time for me to grow to like it.
It looks like a GT40 for sure, but I also notice a bit of LaFerrari & Lotus Evora at some angles.

Jaw dropping inside and out. Great performance standard to build from (see TUDOR results from the Roar Before the 24). World beating performance at a comparatively affordable price. This is how you knock it out of the park.

Actually, between this and the NSX, that will be a very interesting comparison. Similar power figures, layout, and probably price, too. I'd be interested to see the Z06 tossed in there as well.

It looks like it has less surface area than anything in its class. I love the rear. In addition to be fully functional, it looks nice because it's not your average overly huge bumper that seems to be on everything since 2000.

It's certainly different, I'll give it that. Not a fan. Front and side profile look great, mind.

Possibly Microsoft and Forza considering this,

Color me disappointed

It has no character. Just a big mashup. Generic

You're not supposed to masturbate to Nude Descending a Staircase.

I'm kind of curious where the engine's intake air comes from. From the big side intakes? If so, how do the route it into the engine bay when it's that close to the rear wheel? Do they take it straight down, under the gap and up into the engine? Sounds complicated.

If the engine is like the Daytona Ecoboost cars, the the intake should be somewhere on the back. I don't see an opening though. Maybe the holes in the tail light circles are the intake ports? Looks like a longshot. Man, I want to see this thing with the engine cover off. How the hell did they package a TTV6 in there?

Front looks pretty good but not liking the rear. I hope they change it for production because it looks like a fibreglass kit car from the back.

This is the production car.

Not that you mention it, it is a little basic. It's CF of course and the forming process for that is very different than metal. The surrounding the taillights especially could use a little refining.

Anybody think this car can kill a Speciale or 650S?
With at least 600 horsepower (Weight and final HP figures are unknown), I have no doubts about it. I'm just waiting for the mid engine Corvette to be revealed so the two can be compared. Cause that'll be fun. As for my opinions on the new GT, I kind of like it. I'm slightly disappointed that it doesn't have a V8, but I can't complain about the engine when it has over 600 horsepower. I'm expecting much less Eco than Boost in the GT. That also goes for the new F-150 Raptor. And I don't mind the styling too much. I guess Ford didn't want to do another full on retro rehash. That's okay. When I saw the car, I thought of the Lamborghini Asterion concept. I can't wait to see how this thing performs. Ford GT vs. Ferrari 458 (Doesn't matter which) vs. Lamborghini Huracan (and/or next gen Audi R8) vs. McLaren 650S vs. 911 Turbo S (The GT3 or GT3 RS could also possibly work) vs. mid engine Corvette vs. Acura NSX vs. any other new or current mid engine (Or rear engine in the 911's case) supercar I can't think of right now comparison test go!

Also, no stick. Cue mass compains. But I don't care about that. Nor do I care about the engine as much as I did at first. But I could still think of a few V8s that would work well.

I love it, and the fact they used a TT V6 instead of a V8 makes me love it even more. I can't wait till they put it into production and I see one on the road...especially in Gulf colors.

I really like the concept design :). Though I won't deny the back looks similar to other cars.

The rear end looks a little bit awkward from some angles, those tail lights are great though. The rest is absolutely beautiful. I love the original GT40, the 2005 successor and I'm already falling in love with this too. Hopefully the rumours are true (and I don't see why not) and we'll see this at Le Mans 2016.

In several views (especially the side view), it looks like an Aventador rip-off.

At first, I was a little hesitant when I first saw it today. Over the past few hours, I've grown to love it. I'll miss the V8, but I trust Ford will do everything right with this car.

Not surprised about the dual clutch gearbox, but I wasn't expecting a twin turbo V6. After watching that video though, I'm not complaining about the sound. The only thing that I don't like about it is the rear end, it just looks odd IMO. Also, is it just called the GT?

Dat Gulf color scheme

And after hearing it idle along, I can't wait to hear it under load, it's going to sound epic.
