Not like there's a good engine in there that needs the air anyway...I'm just amazed how small the sidepod entries are.
And then Mazepin/Mick takes pole in Bahrain"Look everybody, here is the car you will all be lapping this year".
If the Ferrari unit has developed as Binotto has claimed then it should be good. However, sticking it in a tractor doesn't make a fast car.Not like there's a good engine in there that needs the air anyway...
Pretty much what I was going to say. The engine wasn't the problem but the ****box it was attached to.If the Ferrari unit has developed as Binotto has claimed then it should be good. However, sticking it in a tractor doesn't make a fast car.

I think it'll be interesting to see what version of the show car each team uses, there's at least 3 that we've seen and the RB18 is very different to the VF22 Haas. This feels like the most pointless launch season ever. It's just slightly tweaked versions of the F1 show car from last year with team's liveries on them. Can anyone say they're honestly surprised by the Red Bull? And it'll be the same for the Mercedes, Ferrari, etc
The nose was the bit that really stood out to me. That and the new sponsor on the side pod. I think it'll stand out especially if we have a sea of dark coloured cars again.Definitely a lot more yellow on the nose of the RB18 compared to last years livery. Wonder if it's noticeable on the track.
And I think it's always like this. It's just hype, publicity and advertising.Even Christian Horner said that the car won't look like this at the first test or first race.
