@Wiegert scores an impressive win, being only 7 thousands of a second off Verstappen's laptime. @Hasnain282 has extended his lead at the top to 0.648s. Can he keep it with two rounds to go?

A quick reminder that Qualifying is on Friday, and whoever starts at the front in the Sprint Race is who will be considered to be on Pole Position.

Mexico City results updated above.

I'm going for a wet quali (plus I need to make up nearly 2.5s if I want a chance of winning), so:

1:15.348

Pole time was 1:11.674

Top 4:

DG_Silva ----------- 1:09.741
Hasnain282 ------- 1:09.533
Tume_K5 ---------- 1:09.319
pumaATTACK ----- 1:09.020

Next closest guesses are 1:14-1:18

This doesn't get announced at the earliest until they sit on the grid tomorrow. Who knows if KMag might suddenly get a penalty it disqualified from the session.

Penalties applied to the fastest car in qualifying make them not on Pole, and in the event of the Pole car DNSing, their time still counts.
Am I missing something?

Edit: I guess the wording threw me off, I thought BOTH penalties and DNS made the time valid.

A damp circuit with slick tyres and a surprise midfield pole position saw a laptime somewhere in between the two regions of guesses. @DG_Silva took the win in the end though, getting just within 2s of the pole time.
