I'm sure Russell wouldn't mindWonder if they will just do a few laps behind the SC to give out points.
I don't understand why this benefits Lewis and nobody else.If the race gets fully canceled, which means no one scores points, then i officially consider Lewis has the biggest golden horseshoe in F1 history.
I'm sure Russell wouldn't mind
I think it only started when the safety car drove off at 15:25, so we're only 50 mins in3 hour race time had started back at 3 local time. So only 1h 45min left.
Or at least build in a delay that stops the clock for circumstances like this….Formula One needs to get rid of the 2 and 3 hours rules.
Regulation wise, I think yes, but practically it may be really hard to organize thatWhat about having the race tomorrow, could that happen?
That would be well beyond the 3 hour window the F1 regulations allow….What about having the race tomorrow, could that happen?
Seems like it could be a big logistics issue as they have another race schedule for next weekend. What about having the race tomorrow, could that happen?
That was already confirmed by race control to RB on the live feedLive updates from Autosport suggest that when/if the race restarts, Perez could end up starting from the pitlane if Red Bull finish his repairs in time.
Having paid and fully educated teams of marshalls sounds like a good idea anyway, regardless of conditionsWhile it has many issues, NASCAR at least has contingency plans to allow for rainouts. Might it benefit F1 to consider a full time traveling marshall team?
