You can't change tyres on the F1 cars. You can't change anything on it. So it's R3 tyres. I posted the video with display, just download it and watch.

The best time I did on Sathe # II was 3:12:221 as far I can remember. Most normal lap times were around 3:14 up to 3:15
Dont know if its good or bad but I was driving like insane to get that lap time at the Formula 1 24 lap race. :scared:
But on the Mulsanne straight I didn't get much over 340km/h.:indiff: (With full downforce)

Well, you can just take screenshots with digital camera or whatever. Let's just try to play it fair. Don't post junk or lies. I just want to have some fun and get an idea of how good I am compare to all the hardcore players.

Only cam I have is my phone, and no data cable lol. I should be getting a USB pen today so I'm sure I could try get something up there

Did you ever consider OLR ?
Follow the link in my sig to the WRS, there you can compare your skills with other fast racers' driving skills.

I took a minute and downloaded the video to watch.

Anyway, your time was respectable. Just don't give up your day job.

I would try and beat it...but with no way as it stands to get my replays onto the net, there'd be no proof therefore no point.

Just use your VCR to tape your replay and send the tape to the moderator. I'm sure he'll love to look at your race tape. If it's good enough he might even capture it and send it to YouTube so the whole world can watch it.

I'm just having a little sarcastic fun. It's hot where I am and I can use a few chuckles.

It's a shame that Sony couldn't make capturing replays easier for PS2 users. When I'd heard that the data is encrypted on a USB data capture I really got ticked. What's the point of doing something insidious like that? I now have to waste time setting up my Plextor ConvertX just to capture a few minutes or so. And why the need? I'm a totally honest human who would never consider telling a lie about my world's fastest lap times.

Of course, if you have access to a PC... (which I suspect most people posting on the internet do) you can simply use a video capture card (basic models can be bought for under $25 these days), and plug in the PS2 video cable to that and play back the replay. In fact for just a few dollars more you can get a very basic video splitter from RadShack thus allowing you to display the PS2 on your TV and capture it on the PC at the same time.

Of course it sounds like it would be even more cost effective and less time consuming to just buy one of the max replay drive things they talk about and copy your game saves with that to your PC and post them in that format for those who also use the max replay drives.

Hm...above the table it says R5 Tyres...I thought Formula 1 cars could have just th R3s...

In Arcade mode, one can select different tires for the Formula cars, from R1's through R5's, as well as increase power and decrease weight.

OLR (OnLine Racing) has been using replay verification for some time, now, going back to the Dex Drive for GT2 and evolving to the Shark Port/Xport in GT3. While everyone would love to assume that no one cheats, there are people who do so, and replay verification has become du rigueur for any serious OLR competition.

The prefered method for OLR verification is via a replay device, such as the Shark Port/XPort (sadly, no longer produced) or the AR Max Drive (still available).

I hope the next GT will have a good online play system, then we don't need to go through all this. The reason I picked forumla car to play with, because you can't really change anything on the car. I didn't even know you can change tyres if you use them in arcade mode before.
