I always pass cleanly. Never do I bump 'em out of the way.

In fact, the only thing I find challenging concerning the A.I is winning the race with not a single bit of contact. Wall or car I restart race.

Just like FM3, there are places the A.I slow down to almost crawling speed and you can pretty much just stroll passed them.

Yes it has, and it almost brings a tear to my eye every time I watch it.

Well, the intro to the game is ALOT better. So continue to hold out on it. You will be glad you did.

That "short film" is odd because the background music and Clarkson's voice / tone do not match up. Trying to convey two different emotions at once really threw me off.

What an engine sound! Incredible! And the track bumpiness is finally there. Heaps better than it was in FM3.

I hope no fanboy says that this looks a lot better.

Great vid. Just wish those dudes would keep their mouths shut.

This is why I do not take reviews seriously:

He states it drives the same as FM3. Then loads up a race with EVERY assist on.

Says they haven't changed anything dramatically since FM3. Then shows off World Tour, Rivals Mode, the new Storefront, Homespaces, Autovista.... talks about day / dusk driving, upgrades....

Oh my god just quit your job.

If you are going to watch this just mute it.

I loved the Infineon Race where he lost, and I'm sitting here saying to myself "You would have won had you not slept on the 🤬 brake pedal so damn much".

I really think mainstream gaming journalists should just stay away from having anything to do with racing games like Forza. They clearly have no idea how to review or appreciate a game like this. And as you can tell from the preview and review gameplay videos, none of them can drive worth a damn.

Alan from VVV gamer will be uploading videos and such.
Expect a lot more detail from him. Mostly over the weekend though.

He and InsideSimRacing are really the only reviews I give two (poops) about.

Alan really comes off as too nice to the sims sometimes. Like he is afraid they won't give him anymore goodies lol.

I know what you mean. He's quite clever with it though.

He won't always mention an issue but the video will point it out clearly.

He also doesn't always get final builds which must frustrate when giving impressions. Must be the same for a lot of reviewers.
Not even sure if it's a paid job or they do it for the passion. (These freelance types).

Alan is definitely passionate both about racing and sims.

Every time he gets something new you can tell. Lol. He acts like a 5 year old at Christmas.

Wait, hold on...

I just got up to the Autovista half of that (now horrible) video over at Giant Bomb; how, or rather why the hell are they reviewing a game that they quite clearly haven't the faintest bit of interest in? Autovista, boring?

Seriously?

Lol. I didn't catch that part. About half way through it I quit watching and just started fast forwarding lol.

He has every assist on and claims it's no different than FM3. He claims the game is very much similar to 3...and says something about the Nurb GP haven't not changed since 3...

Remind me to never watch a car-related game intro/review from them again.

So the field of view moves with the motion of the car? Bugger, this always makes it harder to race the car quickly, similar to the "camera shake" through corners in GT5, it's disorientating. I suppose I'll have to wait until I play the game to determine if it's really that bad, I couldn't be bothered with the demo since the game is only a week away.:dunce:

The front end is just, well, it's just...wrong. Seems to have some unnecessary curvature, and the grill port is (I believe) just a bit too wide and isn't as obvious as it is in the game.

They need to remodel it. That, and the Enzo.

It's not that bad. You really only notice it watching video or someone else play it. First lap I did I was like "Ya, that's cool." Then I really never noticed it again. Helps with the immersion and sense of speed.

Seems more like the FOV plays tricks with you:sly:

Agreed the F50 too while their at it.
