That is a pretty dang good trailer. So excited that they put Yas Marina AND Bathurst into this game. Looking forward to playing this when I get an X1 in 2014. Would have purchased the X1 at launch but F5 not having night day and weather was a bit of a downer.
We get it that you're disappointed that weather and night isn't in, but do you have to bring it up every single time you post?

F1 car + livery editor? Awesome.

They may have a relatively tiny car list, but they really are covering all the bases.

I would be very surprised if you could edit the livery on the F1 car, though if you can that would mean F1 leagues :D

Oh wow. That looked amazing, I'm impressed. And also, YAS MARINA CIRCUIT!! :D Love that track.

Yeah Toko I am with you on Yas. Fantastically awesome track great layout and some uniqueness to it. Amazing what money buys! I think it will become in years up there with some of the great circuits we know

Game looks like a monster! I will be getting a one before the PS4 as GT6 is on the PS3 so this will be on the future list of to do's What amazing trailer and that onboard shot at the end was just simply phenomenal. One of the best sense of speed I have seen done!

I'd be a bit surprised too, to be honest. But there's precedent for them allowing real life liveried cars to be edited, so there's hope.

Yes just like you need to bring it up each time I respond. ;) Its called posting my opinion. Which usually has positive AND negative feedback for every game. More funny is the fact that even though I had a positive and negative response, you only pointed out the negative response. What does that say about your character?

Some guys would like their game to be perfect and don't like it others point out that it isn't. I am also missing night and weather. Lets hope for FM6 but the Trailer is awesome.

From Helios: "You can create custom liveries for the F1 cars, am looking forwards to seeing what original creations the community is going to come up with

Enlighten me, please. I'd say that with you continually harping on the same two issues ad nauseam, it's much more telling of your character.

Obviously my point went right over your head. I really wish night and weather was included. Most of us do.

I had to watch the trailer 3 times to pick up even half of what was going on. Loved seeing the built-up rubber marbles on the outside of the turns in the Sebring footage. Beautiful at 1080p too.

Yep the marbles had my attention too. That scene with the Lotus F1 at the end just left me flabbergasted!

I just hope they have a real impact on driving. I mean, it would be cool even as a visual effect, but if it has a serious impact on driving I'll be extremely impressed. And if it actually accumulates over time and based on the line followed by traffic I won't have words.

Dan said around Gamescom that when they scanned the tracks, they noted the different coefficients of friction between the rubbered-in and green areas of the tracks. Also the differences in temperature between areas in shadow and light.

That could all be bluster, but they've talked more about marbling before, so I think they're on the level.

I must've missed that, but if they're going into that much detail on the small stuff, marble accumulation doesn't seem as unlikely as I thought. :D
