I should make some endurance races now that we can have 1,000 lap and 24h races.

Here's one I already made based on the Endurance Events from FM3.

Road Atlanta 34 Laps Endurance
Class F Cars Only
1 Quick Stop
Fuel and Tire Wear On
Simulation Damage

I'll make more when I'm finished with finals.

Here's an idea I tried earlier that actually came out to be pretty interesting, so I decided to make a full event out of it:

Friday Night Knockouts
A series of night races, roughly 25 miles each, with each round taking place on increasingly shorter tracks. Furthermore, every round the field shrinks by three drivers. If you finish in the bottom three of any round, you are eliminated and must start over from the beginning!

Division: Sport GT
Start Type: Standing
Grid Order: Random

Race 1
Max Drivatars: 23
Spa Full Circuit (Night)
6 laps

Race 2
Max Drivatars: 20
Nurburgring GP Circuit (Night)
8 laps

Race 3
Max Drivatars: 17
Daytona Short Circuit (Night)
8 Laps

Race 4
Max Drivatars: 14
Le Mans Bugatti Circuit (Night)
10 laps

Race 5
Max Drivatars: 11
Silverstone International (Night)
11 laps

Race 6
Max Drivatars: 8
Sebring Club (Night)
15 laps

Race 7
Max Drivatars: 5
Yas Marina North Corkscrew (Night)
18 laps

Race 8
Max drivatars: 2
VIR Patriot (Night)
23 laps

Other notes: You can use other divisions or grid ordering if you like, I just picked Sport GT since it has a large selection of cars and produced a more diverse field of AI vehicles. Random grid order was chosen to give some more variety and challenge at the start of the race.
This is a fun way to grind credits and XP :) 👍

1000 Miles!
Car Restrictions: Any car before 1970 and PI of at most 550 and no tuning
Max Drivatars - 23 (Expert)

Nurburgring Nordschliefe - 25 Laps
Sarthe Old - 35 Laps
Rio Full - 65 Laps
Prauge Full - 71 Laps

For more challenge, turn on tire wear and fuel so you have to take quick stops.

I have started doing Division Battles. Setting up multi-bucket races with Divisions that have the same PI restriction for Homologation.

It is interesting to see how the differences in the homologation restrictions effect a division's performance on various tracks despite having the same PI.

I've put together a list of which Divisions have the same PI restrictions as another division.

Is it possible to do Forza GT endurance races with the newer cars competing? The crazy thing with the AI is that for some reason, they always choose the old cars. M3 GT2 instead of M6 GTLM. 997 RSR instead of 991 RSR. Gallardo instead of Huracan ST. I just want to see the new GT3/GTLM/GTE cars, but as soon as i try to modify the race settings, Forza 7 thows out most of the cars. Setting the year to 2015-2017 isnt helping, becaus the game still rules out cars like the Ford GT and the Huracan. Any suggestions?

EDIT: there might be a way. A multiclass race with 2 groups of cars. One group simply Forza GT. The second group something that includes only the newer GT cars. I tried it and the game picks at least the M6, RSR and new Bentley for this group.

I should try doing full NASCAR races like Daytona or Indy. I'll let you all know if I am going to stream it :)

In an attempt to try some cars that I otherwise probably wouldn't drive I've devised a little game to help things. The main purpose is to try different combinations, if you win a race it's just an added bonus.

Forza Roulette

1) Go to your garage and sort by division. Than press L1 and R1 randomly for about 30 seconds (make sure you press one quite a few times in a row). You must choose a car from whatever division you land on, I prefer picking the one I've driven the least. Buggies, Modern Off-Road, Spec Nomad/Polaris and Trophy Trucks are skippable.

2) Go to Free Race and make a 1 lap race at any location, I choose Homestead because it's under a minute.

3) You must race at whatever track the game chooses next (put track playlist to any) and the race has to be at least 20 miles. The only things you can change are the # of laps and Day/Night if you are driving a car with no headlights.

4) The game lasts 3 races after the initial 1-lap race. If you enjoyed all 3 that's a jackpot, 2/3 is just a win and 1 or 0/3 is a loss.

5) After the 3rd race you can either continue or go back to your garage and play another round (selecting a new car from the in-race screen won't reset the track selection).

I've only tried it once so I'm not sure just how random the track selection is, but it seems like a fun way to add some variety. Here are the results of my trial.

Division: Forza GT. I haven't tried the new M6 GTLM yet so I used that.

Tracks:
1) Lime Rock South Chicane (14 Laps) - Love the track and GT cars seem fitting there.
2) Le Mans Old Mulsanne (3 Laps) - Again, love the track, although the stock tune was a tad slow and I started losing ground towards the end of Mulsanne.
3) Catalunya Grand Prix (7 Laps) - Even though I won the race this track has just never clicked with me.

Result: 2/3

Just today I did modern offroaders and vintage off roaders on Monza for a number of laps. It was actually a good race.

Modern day GT Class Race Setup:
Have 3 driver buckets included all in the same league together.
Bucket One: Upgrades Off, Class R, Years from 2015-2019, RWD only, set weight mininum to 2,500lbs
This allows only the BMW M6 GT LM, Porsche 991 RSR, 2017 Bentley Continental GT3, Aston Martin V12 Vantage GT3, and Lamborghini Huracan ST
Bucket Two: Upgrades Off, Chevrolet Corvette C7R Only
Bucket Three: Upgrades Off, 2016 Ford GT LM Only
Tracks & Laps: whatever you want I guess. I usually race 4 laps around La Sarthe.

Holden Commodore Race Setup:
3 driver buckets are open, together in the same league.
Upgrades off for all buckets.
Bucket 1: Minimum Year should be set to 1980 to keep the other older Holdens out of the race. Set Country to Australia, now it will just be holdens. Set a performance point limit lower than R class to keep the racing models from getting in the grid.
Bucket 2: Simply have it Pontiac G8s only, limit the AI count to 4 to keep them from taking over a huge chunk of the grid.
Bucket 3: AI Count set to 4 aswell; Chevrolet Super Sport Sedan only.
Now, all that should be on the grid are Holden Commodore models.

Optionable: Have a 4th bucket open and restrict it to Hoonigan Commodore Utes only. I say optionable as I tried including this before, but none of these ever show up on the starting grid. I guess it's because I don't have the dlc pack.

Love this game for the cars and what's possible to create. However, there's always a stumbling block. I can't get all the cars in the 1967 Gallagher 500(Bathurst endurance race).

- '67 Falcon XR
- Mini
- Alfa GTV(GTA)
- Volvo 122(123 GT)
- Datsun 1300(510, not really)
- Ford Cortina

Some cars are not in the game:
- Renault R8
- Corolla
- Studebaker
- Fiat 124 4-door
- Audi 90
- Hillman GT
- Dodge Phoenix(I could use the Plymouth Fury)
- Alfa Giulia
- Prince Skyline

With all these trucks and suvs being added I decided to race them against each other. Modern offroaders vs vintage offroaders vs modern SUV...usually around tracks with some space like monza, le sarth, VIR and road America. It' actually competitive t times especially on pro and unbeatable difficulties. But honestly T10 needs to give us some off-road tracks, or a hill climb or even rally type expansion where these things belong.

ABCs of V8!

3 Buckets:
Bucket 1: A-Class, V8 engine cars only
Bucket 2: B-Class, V8 engine cars only
Bucket 3: C-Class, V8 engine cars only

Homestead Oval, 30 Laps.

For extra fun, American cars only and swap the A-Class Bucket for D-Class as many of the old muscle cars are D-Class in stock form.

I was messing around with the Free Play races for the Forzathons and made my own Daytona 24h race. It wasn't really 24 hours, but it was a night race with the Forza GT and Forza P1 class. So, here is a shorter version of the endurance race:

Daytona 24 Lap Endurance
Daytona Road Course (Night) - 24 Laps
24 Max Drivatars
2 Buckets with 12 cars each
Group 1 - Forza P1
Group 2 - Forza GT

Knight vs Demon
2 buckets.
Bucket 1 - 3rd Gen Pontiac Firebird TA GTA only.
Bucket 2 - 1958 Plymouth Fury only.
Track: Long Beach - 5 laps

Brands Hatch 15 Lap Race (From GT6)

Brands Hatch - 15 Laps
23 Max Drivatars - Forza GT Division
Starting Scenario - Mostly Cloudy
Mid-race Scenario - Heavy Rain
End-race Scenario - Overcast

It was pretty fun :)

No matter how I'm trying to set up a race, parameters are keep reseting while doing it!

For example, I put Forza GT in group 1, but as soon I try to remove upgrades to off or setting the year, the division resets!
Same for trying from upgrades/year first - no matter what I'm changing next, it resets all other in bracket!

Got some multiclass ideas but only lost time on trying to set it up.
Combination exist, so it's not that.

Yeah Its gotta be a glitch and one they need to fix asap. When selecting a class it should not reset when you want upgrades or not it's weird smh.

So I tried this last night and I really enjoyed the combination of weather and track. The only downside was coming off on the last corner of the last lap and dropping from 10th to 20th as a result. Doh! Will do again though. Good fun.

Here's another challenging one:

VIR 10 Lap Challenge
VIR - 10 Laps
3 Buckets - Exotic GT, Rise of the Supercar, Supercar Renaissance (8 Drivatars each for 24 total)
