Silverstone - 10 Laps

Car Family - Mazda Miata/MX-5

Roadster Endurance (GT4/5 Version)

Laguna Seca - 4:00:00
Car Family - Mazda Miata/MX-5

I've done something similar, only using the new MX-5 and Fiat 124.

1000 Miles! (Updated)
2 Buckets - Vintage Sport GT and Vintage Sport Compact

Nurburgring Nordschliefe - 25 Laps
Sarthe Old - 35 Laps
Rio Full - 65 Laps
Prauge Full - 71 Laps

Small change, but I like the Vintage Sport GT/Compact cars and it's more fitting to the real thing.

Sorry for double posting, but is there a way to set a race for only American road cars?
The only way I can think of is restricting the performance level below class level cars since there's no race cars present from A and below.

Well, I wanted to add S cars to a race but the Touring Cars and V8 Supercars keep showing in the lineup. I was hoping that we can restrict tire compound to fix this.

American Championship (GT5)
American Race Cars with PI under 835 and under 600HP.

Indianapolis Brickyard - 20 Laps
Laguna Seca - 10 Laps
Sonoma - 10 Laps

I added Sonoma since GT5 doesn't have it.

A couple of races I like doing that make things competitive and fun include:
Modern GTLM/GTE - 4 buckets and all cars are kept stock, no upgrades( c7.r, ford GT GTLM, SRT or Dodge viper gtlm, and 911 rsr combined with the m6 GTLM.
Tracks I usually go for: VIR, long beach, road America, Bathurst, Cota, Laguna seca, hockenheim
Laps and difficulty: 10-20 laps and unbeatable AI with most assists off.
All 5 cars are competitive with each other and all exhibit their strengths and weaknesses.

Indianapolis 500 (GT5)
Indianapolis Brickyard - 200 Laps
Forza P1 Division

Indianapolis 500 (Forza)
Indianapolis Brickyard - 200 Laps
IndyCar Division

I tried the Forza race, got to Lap 130 and my game started melting. Lag was unmanageable.

The possibilities in freeplay are almost endless when it comes to setting up custom races, I definitely enjoy it. I do wish T10 simplified it a little because at times it takes me around 10min or so to set up a race how I want it but that being said I get the results I'm looking for 9 times out of 10. Anyway I did a viper vs Corvette race, mustang vs Camaro, a mustang generation setup, radical sr8 thrown in with an equally competitive field of Forza p2 ( for that prototype challenge feel), radical rxc turbo thrown in with nearly equally competitive Forza GT, etc... So many nice competitive races I've set up, I plan to experiment with some more.

Some good ol group 5 racing.
Year set 1973- 1985
PI set 777-893
Power set 399hp- 850hp
Allow upgrades no
Tracks selected, my favorites include Monza, Sonoma, road America, Laguna seca and le man's.
What a fun set up of a race and you can see power levels and handling of each car on the right tracks.

Edit: I also ended up having to make 3 buckets since when picking certain cars eg: the new mustang imsa GT, there was no Porsche 935 on the grid. So one bucket had the above options, bucket 2 was two stock 935s and bucket 3 was two stock bmw 3.0 CSLs. And bam, a full grid of group 5 cars for some awesome racing.

    • Laps: 40
    • Max Drivatars: 23
    • Car Division: Any
  • Advanced Rules

Summary: For this race I chose to use the 2016 Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 SV, modified to the to the top of the R class. Below is a list of the mods I used and a breakdown of my rewards. From this race alone I earned 1,022,000 credits and leveled up four times (currently level 494). I know there are much shorter and easier ways to make one million credits in this game. But I chose this method because it gave me an opportunity to experience a type of car I usually rarely use in Forza Motorsport.

Mods

  • +90% Credit / +2,500 XP “Perfectionist” Full Simulation Damage & Rewinds Off

Road To Five Million Credits
Below is a series of races I did to earn 5 million credits. Even if you aren't able to get the VIP bonus you'll still be able to earn over 1 millions credits from each race (not including driver level rewards). Each race has different restrictions but all races were raced against expert level drivatars. Lastly every single vehicle I used in each race was modified as close to the restriction(s) as I possibly could. Hope you guys enjoy these races.

Hopefully I can grab the Shelby and GT from the Auction House. Got around 3 million, doubt that it'll be enough for both.

Edit: I just realized that you meant GT350R and Ford GT. Both cars can be obtained from career mode. The GT350R is awarded to you when you complete all the Domination Championship races. The Ford GT is awarded to you once you have completed all of the Forza Driver's Cup races. Another vehicle that's worthwhile is the '69 Chevrolet Camaro Super Sport Coupe Forza Edition. I was considering using this for one of those races I posted because this car gives you 50% credit reward (just for driving it) and 50% credit reward for going over 150 MPH. You can also find this car for 200,000 cr in the auction house all day long.
