I've got another 4 hours here at work before I can get this downloading on my X1. Can't wait.

First impressions: It feels like a bigger, better version of the FH1 Rally Expansion. Instead of updating existing roads like they did in Horizon 1, they gave us a whole new island to explore. While it isn't as big as i'd like it to be, it certainly has some great off-road trails and areas that the original map was missing, and I can see how some of these routes will be very fun to replay many times and play in online multiplayer.

Theres also a tonne of replay value in this expansion, with the new championships and 90 new events (20 new courses) which are all really fun and give a new challenge that wasn't in the game at launch. It really is a new experience racing with extremely low visibility, in a torrential downpour, with new more slippery surface types and of course more jumps! The new cars are awesome to say the least, but I think the most underrated thing with this expansion has to be the rally upgrades. Being able to now lift and rally converted existing cars is fantastic and something that really was missing from the first Horizon. Now have the ability to rally convert a TVR and boost it around the golf course or wherever is fantastic and really unique.

TL;DR: The expansion is well worth the $10. Get it. Like FH1 Rally but way better.

I'm completely convinced, this pack is awesome!
It's definable better than the rally expansion pack in FH1, which was something I barely played. This pack though, I can definitely get my money's worth out of it. Now, if only I can find that blast barn.

Left it downloading at 25%, will give it a thrash in the morning. The addition of rally suspension will inspire me to paint some RGT style liveries on cars such as the Ruf RT12 and Alfa 4C.

Can anyone show me pictures of the cars with the rally bumpers and lights and all that jazz? I know some received them due to this dlc.

You can put the group b body kit on the Quattro now
Which one?

But that's exactly how the Rally Expansion worked in FH1. You could use the suspension lift, short-ratio gearing, or rally tires in any race event or any way you like.

So...it's basically the same deal again. But it's cool that they added a new area instead of reconstructing existing routes.

I think you have to be friends with a player to see their drivatar. Also my drivatar won $12,000 yesterday.
Actually no, they don't have to be on your friend list to be seen. I see drivatars all of the time with gamertags that aren't listed under my friend list.

I have another gripe with Horizon 2 to point out, having to listen to stupid voice over everytime I enter a race with a car that doesn't qualify. It's really annoying, I should only have to listen to the voice over once, after that; just let me select a car that can enter and shut up.

Don't forget to get the free rally Audi thru the Forza Hub app.
