How many DLC do we have left? Just one?

I don't think so. Turn 10 typically hands out DLCs for its games until midsummer of the year after the game's release. I think we'll have more and more DLCs until June or July. And when that time comes we'll surely get bombed with Forza Motorsport 6 news.

The Car Pass only goes up to March, so the next pack might be the last. You never know.

With the complexity of its drivetrain, getting the i8's characteristics right has probably taken longer than a pure IC machine.

I have joined the party. :)

Today, Xbox and Universal Partnerships & Licensing announced an unprecedented partnership to bring a unique, standalone expansion to millions of Xbox fans worldwide.

For the first time, the thrilling driving and amazing cars of Forza, the highest-rated racing series of the past 10 years, are combining with the blockbuster Fast & Furious film franchise to create an original adventure filled with high-speed automotive action in Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast & Furious.

Launching on March 27, 2015, Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast & Furious is a standalone expansion to Forza Horizon 2 for Xbox One and Xbox 360. The all-new expansion will put players behind the wheel of iconic vehicles from the Fast & Furious film series, including exciting new cars appearing in Universal Pictures’ Furious 7, in theaters April 3. Players do not need to have purchased or played Forza Horizon 2 in order to download and enjoy the open-world adventure.

“Forza is synonymous with racing and fun, so it’s only natural for us to work with one of the most celebrated automotive entertainment franchises in the world,” said Phil Spencer, head of Xbox. “This is a great way to bring Forza players into the world of Fast & Furious, and inForza Horizon 2 Presents Fast & Furious, every fan will get a chance to go wheels-first into the exciting action of the Fast & Furious franchise.”

To celebrate the launch of Furious 7, this standalone expansion will be available at no charge for a limited two-week period. Beginning on March 27 and continuing through April 10, 2015, players can download the expansion on Xbox One or Xbox 360 at no charge. After April 10, the expansion will cost $10, but players who downloaded it for free during the two-week window can continue to play without restriction.

Furious 7 is the latest installment in our enormously successful franchise, and partnering with the world-class team at Turn 10 Studios offered an exceptional opportunity to thank our fans in an exciting way,” said Bill Kispert, Executive Vice President, Worldwide Digital Platforms, Universal Partnerships & Licensing. “In this adventure, fans will experience the thrill of the Fast & Furious series’ most iconic cars through the amazing gameplay of Forza. We can’t think of a better combination for gamers and movie fans alike.”

In Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast & Furious, players will be recruited by Fast & Furious expert mechanic Tej Parker, voiced by Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, to source cars for the Fast & Furious crew’s next big mission. Players will take part in a series of thrilling car challenges set in the idyllic south of France, challenges inspired by both the Fast & Furious films and Forza’s legendary gameplay.

As players complete game challenges, they will unlock new cars that can be added to their collection and can be driven throughout the open world in free roam play. Players will also be able to take photos of their favorite cars in Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast & Furious and share them with fellow Forza players via the official Forza Web site and the Forza Hub app on Xbox One.

I can't express how I adore this wonderful game. Them rain drops, the dirt on cars when going off road etc. The graphics...ohhh the graphics (that's not the only thing that gets talked about 24/7). *v* And most importently, the gameplay. All put into one package. How? How can a developer do such a amazing job making a game like this? It's so rare nowadays because many developers hardly make good games anymore (excluding Nintendo games), I mean whao! There are so many massive improvements from the first game and new features that keeps me playing for hours on end. I just really, truely love how big the map is in this game, especially its open field areas I tend to drive through at high speed, or relax and explore in. Oh yeah, I've been so busy exploring the map, I even discovered two barn finds early before the game can even indicate me there is one (so far I'm on my third one). :D I never want to complete the entire game, it's just so much fun to mess around in.

Forza Horizon 2, is in fact, the best open world racing game I've ever played in such a long time. Massive respect to Playground Games and Turn 10 Studios for bringing this game into existence. And ohhhhh I also love the Forza Rewards, it's so cool. :) I hope I find you guys Drivatars even though I don't have Xbox Live (if it's possible). :D:tup:

Cheers everyone.

I'm seriously considering picking up a X1 just for FH2 (and its sequel, FM is like a nice bonus since I don't think I'll spend too much time with it, due to the lack of a wheel) - and seeing that this standalone expansion pack will be released on my birthday only supports that decision. Would you say it's worth it? In all honesty, the more screenshots and videos I see, the more I want to spend all of my money on a console + game.
Before you say "DO IT!!" - I know I should. But I'm only a student and my job pays around 200€/month, so there's that - also, I need most of that money for my driver's licence. Plus there's the fact that while only a few (one, to be exact ) of my RL friends have next-gen consoles, they either already bought or are planning to buy a PS4, if anything. And I kind of miss gaming with RL friends, even though it's often just "trying to compensate for their screw-ups". :D

Toko, I'm glad you're enjoying it so much. It's drawn me back in the last couple of days, to the point where I'm doing races and creating liveries for the cars I use.

You're bang on the money regards to just how good a package it is. Really top level game design.
