Hello, can i requested that Porsche's Arena Red and Ruby Red Metallic to be redone? Because Arena Red is a metallic color but the color is listed as two tone semigloss in the chart, while the Ruby Red Metallic seems lighter than the reference pics i found online (At least to my eyes 😅). Here are the reference pics.

Thanks guys!
I'll do these.

Hello in relation to the above request. May I also request the Petrolblau Metallic to be redone. The actual color is a dark and desaturated blue green while the one on the chart looks like a bright blue leaning cyan metallic. Thank you in advance!

On the trend of requesting porsche colors, has anyone done Peridot from the Cayman R's launch colors?

I'll do this as well. At first, I was thinking it was a color that @MadaraxUchiha did, as it sounds like the kind of color he would do. However, since it is a color that I did, I will redo it.

I'll also do this one.

I posted Fish Silver Grey Metallic (90th Anniversary of Porsche Australia) for the 992 GT3 in the forum a while back if you want to add that aswell.
I'll look at it a bit later. I hope you don't mind, but I might need to adjust the values depending on how they look.

I requested a update to Plum Crazy from Dodge and a update for the Vantage F1 edition green to match the FH5 graphics I figured it may have gotten lost in all the posts of it isn't possible that is ok to

I've added some more colors to the spreadsheet, including the recent Porsche requests.

My next plan is to go through the posts from the first couple of months that FH5 was out and do the requests that are still undone.

I've gone through and found 46 requested colors that have yet to be done. These requests came in from mid-June of last year until February of this year. @MadaraxUchiha, @Mitcho2001, and I have all shared our various opinions about requests in this thread. They are beneficial for getting more colors added to the spreadsheet, and colors that we may not have come across otherwise. However, some people tend to go a bit overboard when requesting seemingly endless colors. It gets to the point where we can't keep up with all of the requests because there are so many of them. You also need to remember that Mitcho and I are busy with college and that Madarax and I are busy with work. That, and all of the other things that are going on, limit the time that we can spend doing this. And, we have our own colors that we want to add to the spreadsheet. Going forward, I would like to ask that the various people who frequently make requests remember these things and not make so many requests. I am glad that some people are putting more effort into recreating colors. This is how Madarax, Mitcho, and I started. As I said in another post, I've been doing this for 5+ years. When I first started this, my colors were not very good. The more you work at something like this, the better you get and the better your results will be.

EDIT: I just redid/refined Subaru's WR Blue. There are two versions, which are slightly different. I had previously done the new version, although it needed an update. I updated it and also replicated the original version of the color. I noted the difference in paint code and years in the notes column in the spreadsheet.

I’d also like to add on to what @JaCor653 said: just because some rando internet ‘celebrity’ decides to paint their car Pepto-Bismol pink or some other random color does NOT mean it automatically needs to get added to the chart. A lot of the colors they paint their cars are not manufacturer colors, just some random or unique color they want. We’re replicating actual manufacturer colors here. Please keep this in mind. If you want to recreate Joe Schmoe’s car color, that’s your prerogative, not ours.

i wish we can paint certain cars without losing decals, stripes and lettering
I wish stripes were a secondary color option, maybe a feature of colorable decal groups. Like, a car comes with stripes, and they're a decal preset you can customize (only color, no moving/resizing/etc.). This could also be used for user made decals. If they're a solid color, the creator could set it to colorable so people could change the color to their liking in their cars.

In cases like this, could the old values be kept in a separate spreadsheet for Horizon 4? Maybe with a note on the main spreadsheet if the color was redone for Horizon 5. I still play 4, started from scratch on a new account, with a challenge I made for myself, applying them to 5 aswell. I feel it enhances the games nicely, a lot more challenge early on, but with bigger rewards later in the save.

Of course, do it only if it's not much work, considering the following...

It seems to still be the same as the very first Forza game, where the manufacturer decals are a bitmap texture with one version per colour, rather than a vector that gets rasterised like player decals. It's one of several places in the game where once class-leading tech is now getting outdated and in need of a rework, but the cost of updating all of the models and textures to work this way on top of the rewrite itself probably makes it prohibitively expensive technical debt, which it's unlikely to see Turn10 / PG spend the time on just for a relatively small feature.

Where can I find this chart

The bit of the thread title that says 'read first post' is a clue. The spreadsheet is linked in the first post of this thread.

There really isn’t an issue with using the colors on the chart with FH5. I’ve imported colors that I did in FH4 using the chart to FH5 and they looked the same, just with shinier graphics and that’s it. There wasn’t a change to the colors. Also, we are not redoing 10,000+ colors. It’s just not happening. Too much time went into doing this. If you feel there’s an issue, any of you are free to redo the color yourselves. Please don’t make suggestions like that that would create an extreme amount of work for us. The chart is not getting changed. If colors get updated randomly, we’ll let you know, but there’s honestly nothing wrong with them as they are now. Sometimes they look off because the values were wrong when they were first done, or if your tv isn’t up to par.
