I am at school, so I can't take a picture and do this properly, but here is is:

Torch Red (Ford)

Paint Type:
Normal (Gloss)
- Paint Color: 0.00L, 0.86R, 0.66R

I just put the PaintRef sample into the Color Picker. I have not checked the values in-game yet, but I assume they are accurate. PaintRef is accurate about 95% of the time for gloss colors, so I have faith in it.
I figured it out :) Here are the new values, and I’ll post pics later :)

Torch Red (Ford)

Paint Type:

- Paint Color: 0.99L, 0.89R, 0.64L

I was looking back through the recent posts, seeing which colors had been added to the spreadsheet, and I noticed a couple of things:

First of all, @Mitcho2001, your version of Aston Martin's Olive Green from the OHMSS Superleggera is, honestly, not great. I know winter is not the best season for replicating colors, and the Lego Valley paint booth isn't great either, but your color just isn't accurate. Sorry if I sound harsh, and I don't want to say or do anything that makes it sound like I am better that anyone else here. I took a crack at Olive Green myself, and this is what I came up with:

Olive Green (Aston Martin)

Paint Type:
Metal Flake
- Base Color: 0.08R, 0.18L, 0.26R
- Flake Color: 0.18R, 0.17R, 0.54R

5017de1b-e055-4dd2-a037-9942ded470fc.jpg

I won't add this to the spreadsheet yet, until people give feedback on which one they think is better.

Secondly, @MadaraxUchiha, someone a long time ago did Mercedes-Benz's Jupiter Red. This color is very confusing, because based on the year, it seems to be either metallic or gloss. PaintRef lists it as being gloss, like your version, from 2009-2017, and metallic, like the version in the spreadsheet, from 2018 onwards. Neither replicated version is wrong; it just depends on the year. I'll add your gloss version into the spreadsheet, as it hasn't been added yet, and make a note of the paint type difference.

EDIT: I was adding the rest of the paint colors to the spreadsheet, and I noticed there was some, um, funky stuff going on with some Mitsubishi colors. They were entered in without Ls or Rs on their values. This led me to redo the colors:

Lightning Yellow (Mitsubishi)

Paint Type:
Normal (Gloss)
- Paint Color: 0.13R, 0.78L, 0.95L

Medium Purple Mica (Mitsubishi)

Paint Type:

- Base Color: 0.68L, 0.28R, 0.47R
- Flake Color: 0.69R, 0.23L, 0.81L

Reims Blue (Mitsubishi)

I did Jupiter Red as a gloss paint because I actually seen it in person at Target on a Mercedes-Benz CLA and it was indeed a gloss paint job :)

@JaCor653 whoa it's werid how you did the same colors I made a few months ago (on page 2 of this thread) for the Mitsubishi (except inverted, I did the purple on the Evo 8 and the Yellow on the 9 because that's what I remembered them on lmao)
Nice to see someone else thinking of those colors 👍

I only did them because, in the spreadsheet, they weren't fully recorded (they were missing Ls and Rs). The spreadsheet is about accuracy, precision, and completeness, and colors lacking precise slider values shouldn't happen.

Did you by chance take a picture of it?
I didn’t, but I was right up close to it and my significant other also said that it was a gloss paint because I asked :) So it was two eyewitness accounts :) Paints sometimes do change from a gloss to a metallic paint over time I guess, depending on what the manufacturer wants to do.

Here's another example of Olive Green on that DBS, by the way :)

Aston Martin Olive Green.jpg

So, from what I can see, the color is a mixture of brown and green. Not exactly a good combo, but in this case it works because it looks beautiful on the DBS. I'll give it a shot myself later to see what I come up with.

That Ablaze color looks exactly like one I see driving around town all the time, and it even has the same stripes too! Great job recreating it because it looks exactly like it :) This is the only reference picture I could find of it.

And yes, that is my 2008 Ford Escape in the background of the second image.

I'll see about that BMW color tomorrow.

Good point, but i honestly have no idea lol. I went by eye and checked the number after I was done. I'll know for next time however!

It doesn't make that big a difference but there are situations such as flake brightness in metallic colors where a single adjustment will change brightness rather significantly. That's why it's important to provide the letters.

However, the game will sometimes move the sliders when you try to adjust the colors again, which means you have to get the values right the first time you save the final version of your color.

Regardless, your Imperial Jade Mica looks beautiful and I'll probably put it on my Supra. ;)

Imperial Jade Mica is a gorgeous color :) My Supra is already painted a light sea green color, though :( I have too many paints saved on the game and I have to keep deleting them to add more colors. I wish they'd change the amount of paints you can have in the game, and also hopefully they change the garage limit because with all of the cars they keep adding I won't be able to collect them all :( I just won that Mercury Cougar Eliminator yesterday and that was an absolute bitch having to play The Eliminator that many times :/

Also, I'm not sure how accurate those Supra colors that @submaniac93 did because they're not in direct sunlight :/ I'll try them on my Supra later in direct sunlight and see if it's accurate or needs to be redone :)

That’s fair enough. It’s an absolute pain to try and replicate colours during Winter and in the paint booth. I understand where you are coming from and looking at it now, my attempt was quite shocking! That’s why I wait to recreate colours during Spring through to the end of Autumn. It was worth a shot, but the execution just was not good. Kinda makes me feel a bit sick looking at mine... :yuck:

I've gone and added a poll for Olive Green between the recreations created by @JaCor653 and @MadaraxUchiha for everyone to vote on. Sure, it'll be going for a week, but the more votes the better. For the time being, the values currently in the spreadsheet will remain until the poll ends. Time to get voting!

I believe Purple Silk is already on the list, friend. Also, make sure you provide a picture with your values, and also indicate L or R on the values as well.
