While I'm still in the process of adding onto Chevrolet more, I figured I should start on some other cars... and manufacturers in general.

Reflex Purple may not be entirely accurate, but as there is no paint code and it's rather unique, it's a colour you need reference images for. I may come back to this later on, using this as a benchmark for the colour itself.

Some more Midori Green in the sunlight and also two more colors :)

I also redid Ara Blue (Audi) because in the chart it had the same values for both base and flake, and that's not the case with this color :)

I'm back with a new trio of factory colors, this time a mixture of manufacturers.

Dodge
Octane Red

Renault
Moonlight Blue

Thought this color would be fitting since the R26R was added via the eliminator recently.

And finally,
Nissan
Midnight Purple LP2
nismo-400r-side.jpg
Now,the other Midnight Purple is very difficult and can't even be done in this game but since this one just has a purple pearlescent it'll be a lot easier.

And now, that is the final color for now,as usual thank you all for your assistance.

Why is it that whenever I apply a color to a car, the values change after I save and back out. I don’t know if it has been discussed before, but has anyone else encountered this problem?

It seems to be a common issue as I have experienced this myself. Sometimes I have even come across values that have three steps: a left, middle and right step, when there should only be a left and right step. Might just be something that happens every now and again, but we don't know why this occurs.

I’ve had that issue myself so most likely it has to do with the game. I wonder if anyone has ever asked Playground Games before about it. I’ll make a color only for it to change values, sometimes drastically by dropping the values or making them go higher. And when I re-edit it, it changes back to different values.

This blue done yet or has been done?

From what I know, it doesn’t look like it has. Without a name for that colour, it’s a bit hard to find that out, let alone try to find a colour code for it. Right now I don’t think it’s a factory colour for the F1, but I’m still to do more research into what was available for the F1 when it was released.

That’s the same problem I face. Usually the value goes down only one value from what it was set to, sometimes going down two at maximum. As it seems to be happening with multiple players, from what we know so far, it probably should be brought up as an issue.

Well it was experimental prototype 4 not sure if that color came on production F1s.

Given that being the case, that will be a colour to "eyeball" unlike almost every colour on the spreadsheet. I might give that a shot tomorrow...

Any chance of working out the main colour for this one? I expect the secondary colour is a bit of a stretch, however.

Is that Hellgrün (Bright Green)? If so, I was planning on doing it anyway. I'll do it in a bit.

Edit: After further inspection, I realize that is a Singer 911. They most likely would not use a Porsche paint color. I cannot find a good reference image or the name of the color, so I'll let someone else handle this one.

Hellgrün actually means ‘Bright Green’ in German :) It has nothing to do with hell itself lol The word ‘Hell’ in German means ‘Bright’. The place ‘Hell’ in German is ‘die Hölle’ or ‘Hölle’. Just some fun facts :) It’s also a standard paint job, too. I Google’d it a few days ago myself to see what it looked like and I really like the color. I think I’ll use it on one of my 911’s myself :)

That particular colour is quite hard to find, given it isn’t a Porsche colour. I did come across a PDF of some Singer models which had the paint names included, but didn’t feature this particular model. Apparently it comes under “Dallas” amongst their other cars.

With regards to the palette bug, this is a Forza-wide issue, been like this for a few games now, I believe. No one fixes it because Microsoft forces the devs to keep pumping content and games instead of polishing their product.

(speaking of which, I have high hopes for the new console, but why do I have this feeling Microsoft is gonna find a way to somehow botch it and its games...?)

Personally I'd think the opposite. People who buy Singers are obsessed with their "purism". Though I hope the leaked Singer eventually materializes, since the game already has the Eagle Speedster and could use some more "reborn classics".

Nevertheless, the green in the Singer looks a little duller than the Hellgrün in the GT3, so it could still be a different color... and I wouldn't be surprised if it was also part of Porsche's catalogue!

So, the poll ended in a tie.

No idea how to solve this. Only alternative is rock-paper-scissors, really. Or an agreement between you guys. I was gonna suggest listing both but then I think color creation would slow down since there would be lots of repeats.

This one is not perfect. I could not find any reference images of this color on Google. The only image I had was picture I took five years ago of a truck that was painted this color.

I've gone back through the entire thread and made a spreadsheet listing the name of every color @Mitcho2001, @MadaraxUchiha, @ClydeYellow, @GTvsForza, and I have done and posted in this thread. In total, there are 524(!) individual colors, with a breakdown of who made them as follows:
1. @MadaraxUchiha (227 colors)
2. @JaCor653 (223 colors)
3. @Mitcho2001 (53 colors)
4. @GTvsForza (11 colors)
5. @ClydeYellow (10 colors)

For a long while, I was in the lead, thanks to the Paint Chip Cuda. Slowly, though, @MadaraxUchiha caught up to and eventually passed me. And of course, we cannot forget @Mitcho2001 and the 1,300 or so colors he made before the thread got going.

Here's the link to my spreadsheet:

I honestly didn’t realize I did so many colors already :embarrassed: I’m impressed and proud of the amount of colors that we’ve been able to do as a team :) This has been really great and I look forward to making more.

Also, is it my Olive Green that we’re adding to the list? Or was it already added?

This is another 109 colors. I am sure that, over the course of posting these 109 colors, more will arise, either from requests or from other sources. Overall, the final number of colors I will have posted once I reach the end of this list is most likely greater than 109.

I think yours is the best of the three. I'll add it tomorrow.
No need to worry about that any more. I just went in and replaced the values to those of @MadaraxUchiha.
Anyway, more colours coming through!

This is another 109 colors. I am sure that, over the course of posting these 109 colors, more will arise, either from requests or from other sources. Overall, the final number of colors I will have posted once I reach the end of this list is most likely greater than 109.
I have a lot of those on my back list as well :embarrassed: I’ll do the ones I know for a fact are on my list, but there are a lot on your list I don’t have or haven’t heard of. The ones I end up doing are ones that I’ve already had listed.

Here are some more colors :) @JaCor653 These are the ones from your list that I had on mine as well :) Plus some extras :)

Here's a small list to keep you busy:

Oro Elios (Lamborghini Diablo VT 6.0 SE)
Marrone Eklipsis (Lamborghini Diablo VT 6.0 SE)

If people could attest the accuracy of the following Aston Martin colors on the list:

Casino Royale
Quantum Silver
Skyfall Silver

It'd be appreciated. I've tried Quantum Silver before and the flake could be a little lighter IMO.

EDIT: Please post feedback (no GT colors yet, also no colors from today)

So I've got a really odd request, and them a couple regular ones XD.
Then I've got the amazing Lotus Esprit Orange...

The legendary Miura's weird green yellow...

And finally Jay Leno's 3500GT...

Thanks in advance, you lovely person! ^__^; The Porsche one in particular will really make this gal's day! <3

See, that's what I've said a long time ago. I have a 4K UHD TV so colors on my tv look vibrant and vivid, but what you see looks completely different, and when I take screenshots they don't look like what my tv shows because they get desaturated. It's really dumb and makes creating colors hard.

Funnily enough, Ice Metallic looks almost exactly like another Porsche color I need to do, Ocean Jade Metallic. Ocean Jade Metallic was infamously known as 'the most hated Porsche color' at one time

I'm also working on Hot Orange, which is used on the 2011 Volkswagen Buggy Up Concept (I wish this car was in the game because it's pretty neat :()

Love your work. Could you try and make the Auburn Sky Pearl from the first gen IS300? My friend owns a car with that colour, and would love to see it in FH4. Thanks! Keep up the great work

@MadaraxUchiha, would you be willing to do @HyperSpeeder's requests of Oro Elios (Lamborghini) and Marrone Eklipsis (Lamborghini) and @XnoodleX's requests of Chrome Orange (Lotus), Verde Miura (Lamborghini), and Blu Celeste (Maserati)? Also, @GrimReaper90's request of Auburn Sky Pearl (Lexus)? Also, did you ever finish Ocean Jade Metallic and Hot Orange? If you want me to help with some, I can do that.
