So I finally got around to work on finalising some colours, which proved to be very time consuming - mainly just finding the paint codes for each colour. These are only those I recreated which were on the spreadsheet when I first started work on this. So then, it's time to provide a nibble of the colours I’ve created. And when I say "a nibble," I mean a nibble. This is only Abarth.

Now the colours listed for AC Cars may be more time consuming than this lot, but we shall see what happens with that.

@Mitcho2001, do you have a separate version of the spreadsheet that only lists the colors you did before other people, including myself, started helping you with this? I imagine that would come in handy once you get to Chevrolet and beyond.

EDIT: I have finished the rest of Fux's Rolls-Royce colors. I can't believe how long that took. I feel like I started this project last year.

I think your metal flake version of Intense Jade Pearl is accurate because take a look at this:

That doesn’t exactly look like a gloss paint job to me :embarrassed:

As of now, I don’t have a seperate spreadsheet for myself with the colours I created. Though now you have brought that up, I’ll have to start that and go through who has done what for the main spreadsheet. That will be today’s goal and should prove to be handy indeed.

I have something that may help with that. A couple of weeks ago, I made a spreadsheet that lists all of the colors you, @MadaraxUchiha, @GTvsForza, @ClydeYellow, myself, and others have done. It does not list all of the paint value data, but it should at least allow you to compile you own list how you want. You can access my spreadsheet here.

Thanks for that! If it weren't for this, I would have spent a long time going through all 23 pages trying to find all of mine. All I can say is that it will come in handy if disaster strikes... somehow.

EDIT
Erm... well then. That's after going through everything through to the end of BMW as of now - deleting what is already on the spreadsheet and finalised to get everything I've done. Maybe I have had too much time on my hands since the birth of this...

I already did Spa Yellow back on November 20, and I thought it was added to the list :( I actually just checked the chart and the values for Spa Yellow are the one I did a while ago, so please don’t change it :( Also, I believe Liquid Red is a two-tone polished paint job, because Liquid Blue is a two-tone polished paint job as well and both are used on the Ford GT.

Is it possible to recreate the Apollo IE Golden Dragon paint?

maxresdefault.jpg

This is the special edition version of the car Shmee150 made a video of in Riyadh. This is most likely not doable in FH4, but if it is, I won't be the one to do it. I would like to, but crazy two-tone color-shifting paints like this just aren't my forte. Maybe @Mitcho2001 or even @ClydeYellow could do it.

Honda did some weird things with Spa Yellow and Rio Yellow. It's kind of confusing. Sorry I redid your values. What I'll do is replace my Spa Yellow with Rio Yellow, a metallic color that is not in the spreadsheet.

About Liquid Red, I didn't even consider that it should be Two-Tone Polished. You know how I am about that paint type. Sometimes I forget it should be used instead of Metal Flake.

Haven't been seeing too many lotus colors around,so I thought this factory color from the Lotus Esprit would be a nice change here.

A heads up for everyone, I have completed my list of AC Cars colours, now ready to put up. However I am going to be busy tomorrow and may end out posting them on Monday, which is likely to be the case. I might not have enough energy by the end of the day...

This is probably more up my alley. The thing I love about working without two-tone colours is just experimenting to find the best colours for the base and highlight for an accurate replica. I absolutely enjoyed working on Blu Lial and my recent TVR colours, so I am bound to give this a shot!

I live on the mainland in South Australia’s southern suburbs, so a fair distance away from the several bushfires across the country, but no so far away from the bushfire on Kangaroo Island. We had smoke brought up north from there not that long ago, which was horrible and spread across to Adelaide - the city covered with it. Even today it is still going, destroying the Southern Ocean Lodge in the process. Even interstate, they are still going and some towns have been evacuated completely!
It’s the main talking point every night for the news and it just gets worse every day, even with the help from the CFS and volunteers.
I’m glad to know you care about what’s going on and the safety of everyone. This is all a devastating time here, the damage speaking for itself.

Honestly? I care more about what’s happening in Australia than the issues our country is having with Iran. The absolute loss of life and destruction is staggering and truly sad, and I hope Australia can pull through this and I hope enough aid gets sent to halt the destruction before it can get worse than it already is :(

To the following requesters, I am sorry your requests got overlooked. We are busy with both Forza stuff and real life stuff around here. I have fulfilled your requests and made these colors.

Some of these colors may or may not need some adjustment. I did the best I could, but winter is not the best season for painting and the LEGO Valley paint booth is not the best for accuracy.

I have been remiss in my color making duties because I’ve been playing other games lately, honestly (Borderlands 3 has been taking up a lot of my time ) but tomorrow I’m going back to making more colors :) So look forward to that :) I’ve mostly been playing Forza lately long enough to unlock the exclusive and newly added Forzathon cars, which I do every week :) I just need the last new Renault being added next Thursday and I’ll have every car added this time. To date I have unlocked every single Forzathon exclusive car and newly added car. I really hope they increase the garage space and amount of liveries we can create because it seems they’re going to continue supporting this game and adding more cars for a long time :nervous::lol:

As it is Winter in the world of Horizon, recreating colours isn’t easy to do unless you have a sample. And as @JaCor653 said, the paint booth in Lego Valley isn’t accurate along with the Festival Site and the player houses. I have added all of my AC Cars colours to the spreadsheet along with the request for Nitro Lime from @GrimReaper90. Screenshots of them now don’t look that good, so I might put them off until Spring. Saying that, it gives me a chance to work on the two requests from @Kyusha tomorrow. Time got the better of me today unfortunately, but at least now I have nothing but free time.

Don’t remember the name of this color of if it’s been done before.

I can confirm that this is Oro Elios, which is in the spreadsheet.

Hey guys,
I have been reading this thread for a while and have been amazed to see the sheer amount of dedication and work that went into the spreadsheet, keep up the good work! I also wanted to drop three colors that I didn't see on the list to see what you guys could come up with when you guys have the opportunity.
bmw-m3-cs.jpg

The first one being the BMW M3 CS Frozen Dark Blue II.

Next we have another BMW, this time an M2 Competition in Sunset Orange Metallic.

And lastly, for a bit of fun.

A Pontiac Aztek in Fusion Orange Metallic! Now if only we could get the beautiful machine into the game...

As it is Winter in the world of Horizon, recreating colours isn’t easy to do unless you have a sample. Hey! I’ve made plenty of accurate paint jobs using the LEGO Paint Booth :( I think what matters most is having an accurate reference photo of the paint you’re trying to replicate. The location where you recreate it doesn’t matter as long as the values are accurate.

@mapphew I’ll do that Frozen Dark Blue II today, as that’s a good reference pic you have and it looks to me like the paint job is a two-tone semigloss :)

Awesome, thanks! I believe you are right about the two tone semigloss. Due to my work, I was able to get up close to an M3 CS in that color and it had that type of dull yet shiny look about it.

Yeah, that is true. However, I still feel like it is hard to nail down paint values if the paint area lighting isn't perfect. I see your point, though.

What isn't difficult to nail down, even in the LEGO paint booth, is any color that is pure black, like these six:

Ebony Black (Ford, Lincoln, Mercury)

Paint Type:
Normal (Gloss)
- Paint Color: 0.00L, 0.00L, 0.00L

- Paint Color: 0.00L, 0.00L, 0.00L

- Paint Color: 0.00L, 0.00L, 0.00L

Black (Jeep)

Paint Type:
Normal (Gloss)
- Paint Color: 0.00L, 0.00L, 0.00L

Jeep's Black was called Black Sunfire by Dodge and Forest Black Sunfire by Chrysler, and Black was also used by Dodge and still is.

Are pure black and white colors really necessary to be added to the list? Sure, they're named differently, but they're basically the same.
