Has anyone ever noticed when you paint the primary portion of the body (paint group 1) a color, and sometimes, one of the previous colors is this light grey that has a thumbnail color that isn't light grey?

Forza Horizon 4 (2).png

Or how about when you paint any secondary portion of the body (paint group 2+, side mirrors, wing, etc.) a color, and the previous colors show a weird purple color that doesn't show up as purple?

Forza Horizon 4.png

Well, I have recreated those two colors . . . for anyone who wants them on their cars on purpose. Since they are not real manufacturer colors, I have just listed the manufacturer as Forza. I've named them Glitch Grey and Glitch Purple. Those are appropriate names, I guess.

Glitch Grey (Forza)

Paint Type:
Normal (Gloss)
- Paint Color: 0.59R, 0.12R, 0.50R

Glitch Purple (Forza)

Paint Type:
Normal (Gloss)
- Paint Color: 0.66R, 0.50L, 0.49R

I haven’t been able to work on any colours the past few days, unfortunately. However, I still am planning to redo all of the colours that I did when this all began, which is going to take quite some time to do. They most likely are not accurate, as one of them was pointed out to be inaccurate - mainly because of the same values for both the base and flake/highlight for metallic colours. I’ll keep updates coming through as I go through them.

I haven't updated my list, one of the reasons is that another list is not necessary, I think such a work could be done in the main spreadsheet itself. Besides, during holidays I enter full lazy mode. :)

Regardless, one thing I can still do is enjoy and showcase your great work! :D

Hi guys, i've made a color for the Lamborghini Aventador SV. This is the Bronze Masaru.

Anyone up for a challenge?
Pagani+Zonda+Tricolore+Front+Sun.jpg

It's the Tricolore. It's probably my favorite Zonda. I know some people made it but they painted the LEDs on the front (Cinque doesn't have them), looks so bad, lol.

I'd love to see cars like this Zonda Tricolore, Trevita, La Voiture Noire in Forza. One can dream, as the Veneno was only built in 5 coupés and is in the game! I doubt the likes of Neymar and Floyd Mayweather, Jr. care about whether we pretend to own one in digital form.

What I don’t understand is why they don’t add more newer cars that have come out. There are far more powerful versions of cars out now but for some reason we’re stuck with the older ones in game, especially Audi’s. Audi has gotten really screwed over in Forza and I hope they add more. I also hope they bring back the 2012 Camaro ZL1, the Infiniti G35, the previous Hyundai Veloster model, and the Hyundai Genesis. Sorry about the brief rant lol There are so many cars that I’d love to see in game :(

If you ask for new Audis like the new TT-RS there are people who say "they barely have any differences to the old ones". :(

Thing is, the whole Audi lineup is outdated while we just got a new Macan Turbo that's barely any different from the old one, lol. At least the TT-RS and the RS3 are new bodies. RS5 doesn't look much different but it's got a much different engine, and RS6 Avant is the latest. Audi representation in SUV class is pretty poor as well.

Well at least the Horizon games have the 2015 Camaro Z28 and the only true Mk1 GTI (that is, the European one, as the American Rabbit is FUGLY, lol).

Verde Monza 1958 (Abarth)

Paint Type:
Normal (Gloss)
- Paint Color: 0.44L, 0.31L, 0.67R

Don't ask me why I've gone and recreated the livery of the 2019 Abarth 695 70th Anniversario edition on a 1996 Chevy Impala. This is just the kind of crap I do in the paint booth. Also, this color marks the 250th one that I have recreated. Wow.

I did two versions of this color—one as Metal Flake, to get the different color layers, and one as Carbon Fiber Polished, to get the underlying carbon fiber appearance. I'll post both versions and let you and others decide on which one looks better.

Just going to repost this since the posts were a bit busy when I originally posted it
-
I'm back with a new duo of factory colors, this time a mixture of manufacturers.

Renault
Moonlight Blue
16697810728_ef4f184c08_b (1).jpg
Thought this color would be fitting since the R26R was added via the eliminator recently.

And finally,
Nissan
Midnight Purple LP2
nismo-400r-side (1).jpg
Now,the other Midnight Purple is very difficult and can't even be done in this game but since this one just has a purple pearlescent it'll be a lot easier.

And now, that is the final color for now,as usual thank you all for your assistance.

Both versions look good, but I prefer the Metal Flake because I feel like it’s a better representation of the color. Thank you for creating Fux Green.

Did you know there's also a Fux Orange which is used on the Rolls-Royce Cullinan? Both it and Fux Green are named after multimillionaire Michael Fux, who has a huge car collection that's pretty amazing :) I bet this color would look amazing on the Bentley Continental Supersports since Rolls-Royce isn't back in the game yet :(

These are the other Fux Colors: Fux Fuxia Pearl (Phantom), Fux Fuxia (Dawn), Fux Blue Candy (Dawn), Fux Intense Jade Pearl (Phantom), Fux Aequus Green Jade Pearl (Wraith), Fux White (Ghost), Fux Purple Candy (Phantom Drophead Coupé), Fux Red Candy (Phantom Drophead Coupé), and Fux Yellow (Phantom Drophead Coupé).

Sadly I’m not the one to answer that as I’m not familiar with hex decimals, at all. Though I’m intrigued in what other games you want to use them in...
Need for speed heat has a color palette similar to Forza but more options it does have a sliding bar but no color number values.

I may have to do a quick revisit to Heat to take a few notes on the colour values and work out the differences compared to Horizon 4. The last time I played it was quite some time ago, before the 1.15 update.

@JaCor653 You up to the challenge of making the rest of these Fux Colors? :)

This seems like the Paint Chip Cuda all over again. I'll start working on this.

EDIT: After a bit of research, I realize Fux Green is not the first of Fux's special colors I have recreated in this thread. Way back in July, I posted a color I called Magenta from McLaren's MSO department. Unbeknownst to me at the time, the color is called Fux Fuchsia.

EDIT 2:

How would I go about turning these values into hex decimals for other games?

It would be easier to do this for gloss color than metallic or other two-layer colors. What you could is pick the color(s) you want to transfer to hexadecimal format, and do these steps:

1. Say the color you want to transfer is Ford's Competition Orange. You would Google this: "paintref ford competition orange"

2. The first search result is: http://paintref.com/cgi-bin/colorcodedisplay.cgi?color=Competition Orange Click on it. Then, in the upper-right corner, click "mobile," even if you are on a computer. This provides you a larger sample strip of the color.

3. PaintRef's samples are accurate 95% of the time. Take a screenshot of the color strip.

4. Go to https://imagecolorpicker.com/ or whichever website you prefer. Upload your screenshot, click on the color sample strip, and you'll be given the official hexadecimal value for the color.

EDIT 3:

Here are the first five of Fux's ten Rolls-Royce colors:

EDIT 2:

Thank you! Everyone here is so kind and their work is amazing!
