I'm on it.
I already did Cerulean Blue a while ago for the McLaren :(

I was right, I just checked and I did it way back in January 28 on page 29. You should also type in the search thing as well to make sure colors haven’t been done already. I know I’ve made the mistake before of doing colors that you’ve already done because I forgot to check to see if they had been done before.

For the record, before making requests people really need to check the chart or the search function to see if a color has or hasn’t been done already so something like this doesn’t happen.

I'm very sorry ... I use the search but only with the JaCor tag ... :boggled: Thanks for the fast reply :yuck:

Myself, @JaCor653 and @Mitcho2001 all make a lot of colors and the three of us are the biggest contributors to the chart. If you need to see if a color has been done yet, check the chart or the search, and if it hasn’t been done yet then request it and one of us will do it :)

Now that we've established that Cerulean Blue is out of the way (sorry for the slightly sarcastic tone), I'll have Signal Yellow up with the next bunch of colors, either tonight or tomorrow morning.

Also, if I'm being honest, I too refrained from checking the big spreadsheet for Cerulean Blue. Once I noticed that Signal Yellow wasn't there, I assumed it was the same story for the McLaren color. I even have values ready to go, but I'll hold off on posting them as @MadaraxUchiha already has a great set of values for the color in the spreadsheet.

EDIT: I will say though, that my version of Cerulean Blue is very similar to the existing version. The brightness of my flake is the only thing that is considerably different, and it is only off by about 8 intervals (17 clicks on the slider). Everything else is within only a few clicks of the existing version.

hi all, I come back with another request!
oddly enough, if you google this color, not a lot can be found on it. the images do show that it is metallic though.

Turquoise happens to be my most favorite color of all time, so I’d love to do this color :) I’ll see what I can do and I’ll have it up soon :)

I created Lantana Purple, and the one I did is based on a picture where it is in direct sunlight and outside, which is the accurate portrayal of the color. What you're asking for is based on an indoor photo, which doesn't accurately show the color.

Also, I'd just like to say R.I.P for @Mitcho2001's fingers after that massive color dump @MadaraxUchiha posted.

I was looking back through the pages of this thread, and I noticed that your request has been partially overlooked. @MadaraxUchiha did Lime Rock Green a while ago, and Neptune Blue is in the spreadsheet as well, but Mars Orange is left undone. I will change that tomorrow and do that color.

So, I have another request. Can someone make Pepper Grey Metallic? It is the color used on Eleanor in the remake of Gone in 60 Seconds.

And if someone's feeling particularly ambitious, maybe they could try to make the wheel color from the same car. I couldn't find any info on the wheel color, they look like a cast magnesium color, maybe?

Anyways, any help is always appreciated. And I'm not making an Eleanor replica, the colors are for different cars.

Edit: The code for Pepper Gray is Dupont 44490.

In the game, the manufacturer version of this color is metallic, and it is also the wrong shade of blue. No image of a Mini Cooper that I found showed this color as being metallic; most, if not all, looked like my version. However, there is a different version of Surf Blue that is available on modern Minis, but that color is not metallic either.

Mini’s Surf Blue was also used by Austin, Morris, and Rover. @MadaraxUchiha has since done the Rover version.

Unfortunately this one didn't have the optional carbon fiber stripe package, but it still looks great.

Thanks as always, and great work!

I have reference pics of B5 Blue already, so I'll give it a shot :)

I was looking online at Koenigsigg's newest car, the Gemera. That led me to some older Koenigsigg cars, and I saw one that had a unique color. I don't even know if it can be made in game, but it is called Shimmering Diamond Weave. It came on the Trevita, and it is bare carbon fiber.

On a side note... dang, I've been requesting quite a few colors recently. Thank you all for being so helpful. I hope everyone is staying safe right now with everything going crazy all over the globe.

For that "color," your best bet would be to turn the tint of polished carbon fiber all the way up, with values of 0.00L, 0.00L, 1.00R. It wouldn't be perfect, but it is the best we can do. There is one other option, and it would be kind of difficult. You could paint the car a metallic white color, and then put transparent carbon fiber weave layer groups over the whole car, to get the metallic look and the carbon fiber weave.

I figured as much, but was just trying to see if anyone had come up with a way to get light colors out of carbon. Never thought about the transparent overlay, though. Thanks.
