Honestly, I'm more interested in fixes to improve the quality of the racing, than adding FFA adventure. Not that it's a bad thing.

Specifically: Slowing wall riders, solving people shoving you outside checkpoints (maybe adopting Forza 7's new collision model would help?), and making Freeroam Rush less crap or getting rid of it (and the associated problem of it causing people to choose trucks and **** for race types in which they would otherwise be inappropriate).
 
Huh, the seasonal championships on Fortune Island are all duplicated from last spring, including the fact that they were all completed a month ago so there's no reward for doing them a second time around.

I guess recycled races are yet another exciting feature to look forward to in the future.

The MG Person of Short Stature is such a joy to drive, despite the anemic engine. I'll have to get another and fit it with a supercharger.

And to my surprise, it can only be fitted with a turbocharger. What the flippin' heck, PG? Do you know what people did with T-series Midgets in the 1950s?
 
In the last season I didn't get the seasonal bonus points for completing the weekly and all the daily tasks in the forzathon thing or whatever it's called. In fact the season before was the same.
Did this happen to anybody else?
 
I'm a bit disappointed about the new VW double cab pick up; it doesn't open its bed, it is although a car we actually paid for... So we can at least expect it to be complete, and I find the same problem for the Gallardo performante, saleen s5s, Lamborghini aventador J and koenigsegg cc8s... it's a bit lazy from the devs.
Moreover most of these cars (and the same applies for convertible version of certain cars) are already in the game in another form. Not that I don't like these cars (some are actually pretty cool) but why putting them in the car pass?
That's why I have mixed feelings about the car pass.

I think there is a schedule problem.
Since these models can divert existing model data in many parts, it will be completed in less time than making a completely new car.
Forza basically had a cycle of releasing a new title every two years.
I guess they may have been getting hard to meet this schedule since the release of Xbox One X.
 
Huh. I was trying to auction off a few of my duplicate cars when i got a message saying "You have reached the maximum number of auctions for this time period. Please try again later." I've only got three auctions going right now. And I haven't had any other auctions in the last twelve hours.
 
I must admit that while I initially defended the car pass vehicles I'm starting to feel a bit let down by a few of them. The VW double cab, the McLaren 650S Spider, the i8 Spyder, the Camaro ZL1 1LE, the S2000 and RX7 and the Gallardo LP570-4 Spyder Performante all feel like slight variations on existing cars and, in the case of the 650S, almost exactly the same model!

Yeah, I really feel like these could have been Forzathon prizes, or something similar. I do enjoy the new vehicles, but these ones do sting a bit.
 
I've only started playing FH4 since Christmas, and was gradually finishing up the FH3 content for a while before that.

FH4 feels like a good step forward to me. I love the narrower and more interesting roads, the seasonal variation, the physics seem just a fraction more interesting over dirt, and it all seems to just hang together nicely.

Oh, and the improved off road vehicle selection is great. The more variety the better!
 
I just want all default checkpoints to be bigger.
I disagree and think most of the default Checkpoints are already too big.
The Slippery walls on the outside of corners and the inside checkpoint flag sometimes being 6-9 feet beyond the edge of the road leaves the game far too open to dirty racing tactics (wall-riding and corner cutting).

That's what I was doing for about a month leading up to Christmas. I was trying to complete the Hot Wheels DLC, I only have 4 medals left to unlock the big race. I don't know how many rounds are on Blizzard Mt, but I'm on Round 7 right now. I plan to go back eventually to wrap those up.

Haven't had any issues so far except for one Barn find, my 4th I think, this one seems to be taking forever at the Resto-Garage, don't know if tat's normal or not but I found my 5th barn find after it and it was done being restored in the normal amount of time.

probably true, I haven't driven or owned one. I didn't preorder FM7, I bought it at a Best Buy on Black Friday a couple of months after release. I did buy the Ultimate pass this time, since FH4 was a gift and it was the standard edition, so I see the Hoonigan cars available for free in the Autoshow. I just haven't bothered to grab any of them yet.
 
Not sure if this was posted, but Jonk was answering questions on the FM Forums again;

Q: No word abaout mclaren roof, dont we still get that fixed?
Jonk: -- The McLaren Spider's roof will be down in gameplay with Series 5 update. It just wasn't listed in the update notes.

Q: Still no garage space upgrade what start to be really ridicolus if we have to wait at least another month.
Jonk: -- The garage space upgrade is in progress - PG is hoping to roll this out between series 5 and 6 before February (extensive testing is necessary to ensure no one's save game is adversely affected).

Q: Fixing one speedtrap cant be exploited how abaout all other speedtraps and danger signs that are full of glitch scores.
Jonk: -- Fixes to PR stunt glitches and exploits are ongoing as causes are identified, as are the removal of suspicious leaderboard entries.

Q: New corvette have wrong rims and we still dont get right one.
Jonk: -- Incorrect Z06 wheels and Z06 dashboard icon on the Corvette ZR1 will be corrected in the series 6 update.

Couple more fixes coming in Series 5 in addition to those I listed above:

- The daytime running light not working on the driver's side of the 2018 BMW M5 will be fixed
- The incorrect camera position in the cockpit view of the Saleen S5 raptor will be fixed.

There are numerous other various car fixes as well, but I wanted to call these two out.

- That "poster" for upcoming Car Pass cars has been displaying incorrect information for a while - this will be corrected for series 5 update.

The Mosler and Hoonigan RS200 are not part of car pass, nor were they ever intended to be; they are free cars earned in gameplay.

So it looks like we'll get the Garage space in between series 5/6, before Feb. Z06 fix in Series 6, with lots of fixes coming in Series 5

The explanation about extensive testing makes sense. The last thing they want is to roll out something that modifies save files, and have it accidentally break a boatload of peoples' saves. Especially when the car limit problem probably realistically affects a fraction of a single percent of the player base in the first place.

The "Car Pass" posters were almost becoming a joke unto themselves, with it seeming to select two cars at random every time you launch the game, haha.

Oh, and I was doing a Forzathon Live tonight, and I saw a guy with SEVEN STARS. I can't even conceive of how much of the game you would need to play for that. That's gotta be like 24/7 territory, plus a 24/7 stream going with it.
 
My miles aren't clocking up for chapter 3 of the Volvo 850 challenge. Well, I've got 0.74 showing somehow, which doesn't seem remotely right and I'm not even sure when I got those. Another bug?

edit: ahh... gotta go over 130 mph or so, think I'll go back to the mainland for this!

That's what gets me about the stuff with patching and people biting the devs for taking so long - would you rather that they just push out the patch and have something **** up, causing people to bitch and moan even more, or would you rather that they take their time and at least make sure that they plug up that hole?

To put it in perspective - I've been playing the game since the early access weekend in September. I'm still on the first level of prestige, so to say, and I think I'm in the 150 range.
