Both Toyota and PD are lame for keeping things a secret, and honestly, I couldn't any more less. No doubt there is an exclusive deal between the two.

T10 and PG have been adding so much new cars lately that PD has YET to obtain, namely the new TVR Griffith (which looks hella more better than that dumb Z, I mean Supra, lol.) Free or not, it will still continue with PD lagging behind the competition. So if they want to keep Toyota to themselves, go right ahead.

We'll just continue enjoying other automakers' cars who aren't as a blind as Toyota.

I dislike it more on principle, than because there's any particular Toyota I REALLY want to drive. Toyota are a major car manufacturer, and it's bunk that Toyota would do this, and bunk that PD would seek to make such a deal.

It also basically invites Forza to start doing the same, at which point we get into a race over who has what licenses, and literally no one who plays either game is winning in that scenario.

That's what I don't want to see, a war to secure manufacturer licenses that hurts players of both games. Maybe I'm too simple-minded to understand the reasoning behind exclusive licenses. If I were a manufacturer, I'd want my cars in as many games as possible, since it's advertising the game developers are paying for.

Honestly, very meh about the new Supra (and rather meh about Toyota itself for reasons...) but I would prefer the FT-1 concept and/or the new BMW Z instead lol.

The fact that the new Supra is shorter and, more importantly, taller than the old one kinda shows lol.

It could be a matter of simple money, or PD leveraging their relationships as a fellow Japanese company - or more likely, a combination of both.

I'm still hoping this is just a deal for the new Supra, and not some exclusivity deal for the entire brand. If it's just a car, sure - whatever. Forza does the same thing with cars like the Senna. But the entire brand is a different matter.

Do you have a link to this comment?
It is a comment to Supra by GT Sport. (Not a correct translation because I do not play the English version of GT Sport. And I searched for English version images but I could not find it. This message will be displayed in Brand Central.)

As PJ said, deals like these happen very often.

T10 has a similar deal IMO, but not as restrictive, because Porsche now understands the benefits of having its brand everywhere. It seems to me that Porsche's new releases will appear first in Forza, with a possible timed exclusivity. At least, according to the new cars we got (GT2 RS, GT3 RS, 992 Carrera S).

IMO the biggest problem in the Porsche deal was that EA transformed their game into something that goes against Porsche's ethos. So Porsche had difficulty licensing their brand to games that would take advantage of Porsche's vast racing heritage.

I would like to ask Kaz how he feels about this, knowing GT fans have long complained about Porsche's exclusivity to EA in the past (in fact, the most notorious case, since Microsoft at least had the money to throw at EA), and now it's evident that Toyota has a deal with GT that not only restricts their new releases to GT but also excludes Toyota from every other game released past a certain date.

Well, we have the BRZ and should get the Z4 soon anyway. The cars I wanted the most are the LF-A, the 2000GT and the race cars, the rest is meh. :D

And if PG wants to bring some screaming Toyota four-bangers like the 4A-GE and/or the 2ZZ-GE back, they can always go to GM and license their Toyota-based, NUMMI-built pocket rockets.

Only 2 a day... Close to $8 dollars a day so... $224 in a 28 day month. Even one a day is over a hundred dollars lol. Stuff adds up fast.

Quitting basically pays for one of my bi-weekly car payments.

That's crazy unhealthy, man. :scared:

I have FH2, FM4, FM5 and FM6 to play with the Toyota-Lexus cars that really matter to me, namely the A-80 and the LFA. The new one they can keep it...

Well that's a real shame to be so blinkered since in GT Sport the new Supra is great fun on track and quicker than the A80 with its wonderful 2JZ.

I mean, if you don't like sports cars that handle and sound like sports cars, that's on you.

The thing is, some of us couldn't care less about the A90. For example, we simply want Toyota and Lexus to come back to Forza and other games. Some of us prefer old cars to new cars like myself. And like I said, some of us don't care about your precious new Supra that was born by the new Z4 after it woohooed with the GT86.

No need to be get so snide by adding "sounds and handles sporty" friend, because ANY car can be sporty, even when built....

Also
I have the game and driven it yesterday. Although the car is fun, I'm still pissed off Toyota decided to take EVERY single one of its cars out of other games, and for what, the new A90? Phaw!

What do you know? I don't have the MC12 FE and it is priced at a not unreasonable 500 FP. First car I've gotten out of the Forzathon shop in weeks.

@TokoTurismo agreed, it's a really good car, its FE bonus trait is that it has, possibly literally, a metric ton of downforce and can be tuned to a very high output. I'm pretty sure it's the third fastest car on the motorway drag (if you're into that kind of thing) after the Mosler and Agera RS - maybe the fastest that can take "The Bend" flat out at 271mph, even with the aero set to top speed - and is also perfect for speed zones. There are some great liveries for it, too.

McLaren F1 GT is faster then Agera, slower then Mosler.

Apart from whether you like it or not, it seems that at least two Mustang will be added in the next update.
This Mustang used for the image of Forza Friday has a stock interior and RTR rims.
Perhaps this RTR Mustang will be added separately from Mustang of Vaughn Gittin Jr.
