Word on the official forums is that the Devs are aware of the sound issues and are working on fixing them.
Turn 10 also mentioned in the YouTube Forza Monthly livestream chat that they are aware of the sound issues.

In other news, Eurogamer recently had an interview with Ralph Fulton regarding the official launch of Forza Horizon 4. Eurogamer asked about the lack of Toyota vehicles, and this was what Ralph had to say about this issue.

Ralph Fulton: "What to tell you about that. The story of licensing, the whole process is very opaque to people that don't make games with licensed content. That's fine - I don't expect everyone to understand how it works. But in situations like this you have to do a bit of explaining. We've a team that are based somewhere in Redmond who go and renegotiate every licence we have on a per-project basis. They are working twenty four seven, 365 days a year on that. That's 400 manufacturers, music licenses, any number of different partners. And unfortunately, when you go back and strike up a conversation you can't always align with the things that they want, the things that you want - things change year to year in any project in any corporate area. Unfortunately what's happened with Toyota over the last couple of years is we haven't been able to reach an agreement which is unfortunate - hugely unfortunate for us, because as car lovers we feel the pain that our fans feel as well. And we will continue with our conversations in that area - that's not something we've given up on."

Woo :D

It's obvious by this point that Toyota has an exclusitivity agreement with either Japanese developers only, or with PD specifcally, and they aren't telling people. Which is par for the course when it comes to Japanese corporate business decisions, but what's done is done.

There's really no point in trying to argue sense into Toyota, they seem content on shooting themselves in the foot until it inevitably shows up in other places. Might as well just be fine with the vehicles we have and just wait until whenever the agreement ends.

Something strange is going on when I search for paints and tunes now. I'm pretty sure the language changed to Italian. :boggled:

Finally had time to sit down for a couple of hours tonight and play FH4. Wow, the graphics really have been stepped up a notch since the last version even - and that's on my no-frills screen. I spent a lot of time just driving slowly round on familiar looking roads of my home country and reminiscing at the scenes - lots of opportunity for using the photomode. As for driving, I am much for of an asphalt rather than a dirt man, but really have enjoyed blasting around the sprawling landscapes and muddy tracks. As for some of the new features, I was really disappointed at keeping on winning clothing etc from all the wheelspins, but now I don't really care and think it is all quite fun ... I am looking for a nice red jacket and pants to match my leather driving gloves hahaha! Really impressed with the whole game/experience. Can't wait to dive in more ...

So when will the Sentra and RX-7 Spirit R pop up in the Autoshow? I checked right after the transition to autumn, but nothing.

Regular wheelspins now cost 40 FP instead of 10.

I've just read about this elsewhere too, this is a very annoying change. It is going to genuinely put me off participating in Forzathon events because the rewards are no longer worth the effort.

Guess no more farming for wheelspins. I have spent more than 2000 points on them.

I've spent thousands on them too. No more though, a 300% increase in price is absolutely insane.

I'm guessing it has something to do with them previously being so much cheaper than a super wheelspin. Why pay 150 FP for three chances if you can get 15 instead?

I always thought that 150FP was way too high for the Super Wheelspins myself, I've completely given up on the Supers after getting nothing but really bad prizes in them. At least the regular spins were getting me the odd decent car.

I get around 3 wheelspins per hour of gameplay or so... maybe it has to do something with the VIP status? No need to buy them with FP.

I get them during general gameplay at a decent rate but I've been relying on the FP spins to get me something besides clothes and horns

EDIT: Heh, it looks like the reddit Forza community aren't too happy about it either

Some of you may already know this but you can acquire a Lamborghini Reventón FE from a Lamborghini Miura skill tree. You can also acquire a Nissan NISMO GTR-LM FE from a Nissan R390 skill tree. Do not purchase a Miura or R390 from the Auction House. You will not be able to acquire these FE vehicles because the original owner has most likely already done so. I made that mistake last night and I now have a Miura back in the Auction House with a minimum bid of 100,000 cr.

I like that the sheep run away from the drome if you chase them with it  (I eventually found the Autumn Barn find and it was getting dark-again)

I also really enjoyed the Long Road race 'Colossus' in a Ferrari. I then went to the Dirt race 'Gauntlet' Final (lvl10) Wow what a race, I picked the Ford Fiesta GRC #14 car (one of my faves so far) It throws everything at you, narrow tracks, bumps, long straights and it seems to go on forever with beautiful scenery in the Autumn Sun through the forests. I don't know how many miles it was, but it was a close and exciting race! One of the best games this.👍

Autumn really looks great, a nice change from Summer. They have done really well to capture the seasons so realistically.

I got lucky with the 300 SL gullwing but yeah, got screwed $500,000 by buying a Miura with those already unlocked.

When I was bidding on the Miura last night I came very close to using the Buyout option (500,000 cr). Fortunately/Unfortunately I won the auction with a 200,000 cr bid.

I have never once given a 🤬 about what anyone on Reddit thinks. The cost of wheelspins didn't make sense. Now they do.

Yeah, I don't think many of us have any respect for the users on the "Land of Angry Teenagers." I got enough wheelspins through normal gameplay I don't see a need to spend FP on them, granted I bought a few last night with extra points, but I probably won't this time around.
