Waited for the Autumn season to do this...

I've been to England a few times, and Scotland too, in the real life, so I tried to mimic some of my real photos in Horizon 4. Not many, and they're far from perfect, since I don't have the patience to wait for the right time of day.

That’s pretty cool!

Is anyone else having this bizarre bug where all Drivatars are showing as Level 1 and they all pick the same car in freeroam and races? I asked about it on the forums but I'm getting no help at all.
I have the level one issue, but I haven’t paid attention to the cars they are driving.

More and more I'm noticing that not being able to rev your engine off the line in races really hurts RWD launches, especially against higher difficulty drivatars with magical grip.

Why did PG do away with that?

I'm finding the response from the cars is really lazy for me on my One S. Having never used an Xbox controller before, it's proving tough to adapt to it (the fact I can't change the button mapping to what I want on the Xbox isn't helping). Does anyone have any tips? How do you set up your buttons (especially for shifting, E-brake).

When I play on my barely acceptable computer (even though I'm only running 1080/30), the responsiveness seems a bit better, and even though I'm using an adapted PS3 controller the braking response especially seems much easier to modulate.

I'm having it rough playing online with people who've played previous Forza entries, and of course I can't expect to be that quick when I've never played with these physics before. But I'm finding it hard to even be reasonable, especially on the One S. So, any help people can provide me with I'd appreciate.
You can map the controller on your Xbox S in the system settings.

I use default everything, but I select the option to switch the clutch and e_brake in FH4 settings, so A is the clutch, LB is e-brake.
Pressing A and B to shift up, and A and X to shift down was probably the easiest adjustment.

If you're new to the xbox controller, you just have to give yourself time to adjust. It was very frustrating for a little while, probably moreso due to also adjusting to new physics.

The triggers for gas and brake become better and better as time passes, I'm still getting better with them after a year and a half, but they're more precise for me than probably any controller configuration I've ever used now.

Edit: Also, if you haven't done so already, the default deadzones for steering, gas and braking are something like 15-85, setting them to 0-100 removes a lot of delay.

I also saw a 2005 Honda NSX-R in a race, it's not available in the showroom and i don't remember if it's a reward for something...

Yep, I came across that tonight they are all driving the Twerkstallion.

Anyone getting into Horizon Life sessions with low player counts lately, like 10-20 players max? 'Cause that's what's been happening to me.

On that note, has anyone been in a full 72-player session yet?

For the first time, I had an unusually low number of participants in Forzathon Live. There was less than 3 minutes left on the clock when we were done with the challenges. It's never taken that long before. I don't think it's a coincidence that this happens at the same time the as the wheelspin price increase. Unless you own the Lake Lodge property, then you won't even get enough points from a Forzathon Live session to buy even one wheelspin, so people may be getting less motivated to do them now.

Eh, I've been involved in FL events that don't even complete the third challenge. It happens — people may be busy with some of the other things in the game, after all.

I'm not sure what level of info Playground has access to, but if it saw a disproportionate number of people were using FL to farm wheelspins, perhaps it wanted to combat that and spread the love, so to speak. Though I still think it's just a necessary rebalance: it was either that or make the Super Wheelspin far cheaper.

Yeah, I'm hoping it was just a fluke. But I'm going to keep note of how many people join from now on. I've already seen several complaints on Reddit from people saying they're not going to bother with Forzathon Live anymore, so I have to wonder how many players actually have this mindset.

I think the max amount of people I have seen in a Horizon Life session was around 55 people? for the most part, the average is around 30-40, maybe 45 people every once in a while.

That is so cool, Great photos -(Love the sheep ones)! I think they have it spot on again. I have never been to Edinburgh (On my list) but from all the photos I have seen they have captured the buildings and streets well. (Even better than DriveClub+PGR) 👍

It just dawned on me that Rolls Royce isn't in the game:confused:
JONK1969 responded to a Forza fan about the loss of Toyota (Lexus, Scion), Rolls-Royce and Tesla. He feels the same pain as all of us because he also wants these cars to be in Forza.

A rumour that I have heard was Rolls-Royce pulling out probably due to the mud in the game. They don't want to see their expensive prestige cars become extremely dirty. If you look at the images of the Rolls-Royce Cullinan. Even though that vehicle is on sand, it actually looks really clean.

Rolls Royce sucks anyway. :P
Toyota sucks too.
I miss Lexus and Mitsubishi a small amount.
But that's just me. :)

2 mornings in a row, @ 6am EDT, I had to run them solo. I can get one easily, but getting 2 by yourself seems potentially impossible.
I did one at 5am with only a single teammate, we got 2 together, but didn't even try for the third as time was almost expired already.

I just realized that you have to do the NSX challenges in a row. I was trying to get those 10 air skills registered before doing the 3 race sprints and thought it was some kind of a bug that it didn’t work! :)

It seems this bug only happens in Co-op. I did the race solo for the Forzathon challenge and the drivatars all had different cars.
