Are tiers and levels the same? Because I'm at road racing level 13.
Yes they are the same. If in doubt you can go to menu- My Horizon life and you will find all the different activities there. Clicking on each icon will reveal all the prizes (unlockables) for each level in that category. Also it will reveal the amount of exp needed for the next level and the max level for that category.

Yes, I discovered that as I played through it. So I'm a long way off unlocking the last race:lol:

No thanks to more FH4 expansion of the same calibre. They need to start making expansions that aren’t integrated as separate entities, because the confined and isolated experiences they’ve offered so far are in my opinion not worth it. Just look how the monthly Festival Playlist is always entirely focused on the main map. Says everything really.

Recently, RetroKrystal left Playground Games. Probably because of the requests from the community.

I don't think she left the company, just took another position within it, so she could have a hand in development, at least I think that is what she said.

Got the Clio after two tries with the trial, at the end of my second try it was me and one other person, who quit before the prize was given out, despite the win....

The Performante is the 50% reward — I'll never get it. The Rimac returns and is the 80% reward for whatever season that was — I'll never get that, either.

What that says is they are making sure that no one is excluded by focusing the Festival Playlist on the one part of the game that everyone has: the main map.

Torben from PG once explained why they don't update the seasonal events on the expansion maps - because most players don't play the expansions in the long term. This "issue" relates back to my initial point that the expansions are poorly integrated.

I don't think it has anything to do with not wanting to lock anyone out of the monthly playlists. They're already doing that by having Gold account exclusives like Online Adventure, The Trial and Playground Games.

I'm looking forward to the Emory Porsche (although truth be told, I'd rather we get a different production or prototype 356 rather than a custom.)

So Toyota's return over the last 2 months boils down to Supra RZ and Sprinter Trueno? They're really milking it slowly with the unimaginative mainstream audience taking top priority. In other words, this is boring as hell.
I agree completely. I've personally already lost interest.

Nothing all that interesting for me this time around. I don't mind different performance variants of cars already in the game, but the convertibles and tuner just don't do it for me. Also it looks like the "updated" AE68 still hasn't had the front bumper fixed.

I remember the Open Top Hummer from the first game. It was a cool truck. Hopefully this means we'll be getting more like the H2 or H3T.

Performante is a welcome addition, though since winning it from the Summits in The Crew it's not really an exciting addition :)

The Toyota tease continues with the AE86, they better pump up the hype next update.

As for the Emory Porsche, never heard of it...

The Performante and AE86 are just there to fill community request fodder before everyone moves on to crying for the next big super/hypercar or car culture "hero".

I'm surprised to say I'm looking most forward to the Huracán Performante. It may be a painfully predictable addition, but at least it should be fun right out of the box. Not sure I can say the same for the others, and I don't even know what that modified Porsche is.

Imagine the rage if they messed up and put the Performante in the Modern Supercar class together with the Superleggera.

Let's take a moment to remember this PR shot from approximately two months ago, and the still unreleased Camaro it teased... :boggled:

Emory's dad, Gary, is the "OG" Porsche customizer in the US, dating back to the mid 60s. He's mainly the reason why Singer, Magnus Walker, Tuthill and all the others are doing it to this day (and charging an arm and a leg in the process). It's a cool piece of history, but as I said with the DeBerti F150 a few series ago, I feel like it should have been added as a customization option on the regular 356 coupe that was added in the first weeks of DLC.

The Performante's cool and all, but it's not the kind of car I like to cruise around in. The old one will be better for racing too, since the widebody kit and superwide tires most likely won't make it around.

The Hummer's not partzzz...zzz...

Which leaves the AE86, which will be cool for about 5 minutes and then I won't use it again because every single other car out there is better for drifting.

So yeah, as far as my tastes go, pretty boring this time around.

I'm very sorry for the late post. And that's sad to hear she left. She wasn't bad, but rather fun imo. Did she legit left PG? Because I heard someone say during this month's stream she got promoted. If she left left, that isn't fair at all.
She indeed left Playground Games, according to one of her Twitter posts.

The Emory Porsche was shown in one of Dan Greenawalt's Twitter photos, as well as being shown at SEMA last year with Turn 10 Studios interviewing the creator of the Emory.
