She indeed left Playground Games, according to one of her Twitter posts.
Aww geez. :( I'm going to miss her. But you know what, at least she was able to put up with the headache that is the Forza Community and brought joy for a long time. Whatever job she finds next, I hope is better than this one.

Outside of this site, the whining is unreal. Literally. PG should give Horizon a break and finish that new non racing game they were making. I rather see that than a Horizon 5.

I remember she got stalked/menaced by some weirdo on Reddit a few months ago, I wouldn't be surprised if that helped her make that choice.

The Forza community/fanbase is indeed a massive headache and a pain in the neck to deal with. I’m fine with whatever car that is coming to the game, but I don’t whine constantly to Playground Games nor to Turn 10 Studios about it.

Also, the thing that most fans tend to forget is that the cars are included because of LICENSING AGREEMENTS. If a car manufacturer says no to a car, then that car can’t be implemented into the game.

Or the Fortune Island Trailer showing the Shelby Raptor and Jeep Wagoner, both of which are also still not in the game.

I never noticed this. It really makes me wonder what they are thinking, or not thinking. The team must know that developer build footage should not be used in overt marketing contexts, and that there are people who buy racing games simply because certain cars are advertized.

I've heard about that one. Also the fact that you couldn't go into the Livestream comments (live or not) and not see the perverted comments about RetroKrystal.

If there is not going to be a new Horizon for another 2 years at minimum(which is the entire life of every other horizon game), they certainly are going to need to add alot more content, not just cars.

Anyways, apart from the slight ranting about how ignorant and toxic the Forza fanbase/community can be at times, here are the cars remaining on the leaked car list posted a couple of months ago. The ones crossed off are the cars that are already in Forza Horizon 4.

As much as I love the RUF CTR2, and believe me I love the CTR2.
Not having the CTR "Yellowbird" on the leaked car list is BONKERS!!!

Yeah, but I think the appearance of the Hummer H1 Open Top serves to disprove the notion that the list includes all the cars that will be added to the game... There may still be some surprises yet.

Also, with the recent announcement that the next Forza Motorsport won't likely be a X1SX exclusive - I think it may be very well possible that we'll see there the proper, track-only racecars in the list. Now, if you'll excuse me, I think I have a Formula 4 hype train to catch...

Also, if they do bring back the CTR2, Horizon would be the 3rd game I know that has both Porsche and RUF (GTS and The Crew 2).

I would get extra hyped if the Yellowbird (new or old) comes :)

im glad the h1 alpha open top made a comeback to forza horizon. any1 had it in fh1? is there a option to add a soft top roof to the car? even though its a open top. i prefer it with the soft top.

We won't know until Thursday. But probably not.

I had the DLC for the first game, but hardly played with the Hummer. So I didn't know if it had a roof option or not.

Probably not the reason. Mechberg left as well, and he endured it for a decade. Can't imagine how bad it was when FM5 was released. Maybe she just found a better job opportunity. Babysitting children on Discord isn't fun.

I like Krystal and that's despite badmouthing the game and its direction on every opportunity I have! She's a part of that, because she's very casual. But she was good at the job. She has always been level-headed in her communication. I think that, among the mod team, she was really one of the nicest people. Wish her the best.

With regards to the game itself and the update, the Performante isn't all that hard to make if you have the base Huracan already. It's an old car, too. It was probably being saved for second year, to keep interest in the game high.

But it's too little, too late, because the game barely has any new content. No new islands. Eliminator is that dinner you make with leftovers from lunch. I seldom see any bugfixes anymore. My Playlist still registers 4 ghost items from when I won suits I already own and this bug has existed for months.

I think Forza Horizon is the epitome of support done on the cheap. Compare to Sea of Thieves and Gears 5 and you'll know what I mean. It's easily the low risk/high profit franchise in Microsoft's portfolio right now, which could be a problem IMO due to the need for a new game on the new console.

Why is Forza Horizon 4 still successful, then? Because, quite simply, the gameplay and the graphics are top notch. Which is why I'm always pounding on what PG does with the game. They waste its strengths on things like Eliminator! Dodging trees is the worst way to enjoy the game's great driving physics. And Eliminator's pink ring muddies the jaw-dropping skies. That's just one example, really.

I get it, there are players that don't like it. It's not fun for everyone. But a waste of time? Every time I join a game there's a minimum number of 45 players. Most of the time between 50 to 60 players. Definitely there's a lot of people out there that can have fun with it. I think they naild it with the Eliminator. And I'm thankful for them for this mode.

 Tons of free content - That's the epitome of cheap. I have no idea what you mean in comparison to Sea of Theives, a game that had a terrible launch with a ridiculously low amount of content and taking the term repetitiveness to a whole new level. They had to support the game with how lackluster it actually was. It looked nice, that's literally all it had going for it.

I was about to say that Sea Of Thieves has had content put in post launch because nothing was there at first. Horizon 4 has added a lot of content was really quite stacked at launch.
