Let's take a look back at the past.
In Forza Motorsport 3, Turn 10 and Jalopnik collaborated on a campaign to determine which cars would be included in the "Forzalopnik" DLC based on a vote on Jalopnik's website.

However, this wasn't the end of the project.
Since FM4, they have added many of the cars that were eliminated in this tournament to the Forza.
And the 205 and Pulsar were among the cars that were selected as candidates for this campaign. (It was a 205 GTI, to be exact)

Of course, Pulsar and 205 have also been the desired cars on community wish list for many years.
These weren't the flashy cars that many players liked, like the Pista and Performante, but they were always cheered on by die-hard fans.
While there's no denying that this latest addition takes that into account, it's safe to say that the cars that participated in the Forzalopnik DLC tournament are the ones that will likely be added to Forza in the future.

Postscript: all the car listings for Forzalopnik. (Cars that haven't been added to the game yet are in bold.)

This thing is surprisingly grippy compared to the other Formula Drift cars though; barely any wheelspin noticeable while going flat-out in fourth gear. Well, I guess it does have a massive wing on the back, unlike the other Formula Drift cars in the game. Quite a pleasant surprise considering the fact that I'm not really into drift builds. And it's also sensational to look at!

Im really hoping Turn10/Playground Games dont burn their bridges with Ferrari by adding the Formula Drift 599 into the game. They hate this kind of stuff, which could mean they pull out of the future games
Lol, I wouldn’t blame Ferrari, I’m tired of the **** too

joking aside, I don’t think they will, especially after NFS

I mean, they do have a strong relationship, going so far as allowing the Liberty Walk kit on the 458...

Nevermind the fact that you can make custom liveries on them... like in GT Sport.

I don’t see that making much of a difference really, developers benefit from relationships with manufacturers so it is a good idea to maintain a good relationship with them.

Especially when it comes to sourcing pristine and/or hard-to-find examples to model [not that that always makes a difference with T10 and its car modeling subcontractor(s)... :D]

Thanks, I had no idea the Sunny was called the Pulsar elsewhere. I remember that crazy GTi-R with the bonnet grill. Even though I was fairly young at the time, the looks were a bit "boy racer" for me. It was like it had been pre-modded for all those people who liked to mod cars. A performance weapon, for sure, though.

No problem....the Pulsar was the Japanese name for the Sunny....why they felt the need to change the name I don't know but then it happens with a lot of cars. I agree that the bonnet bulge was a little OT...I more wanted the car for it's performance rather than it's looks....my 1.4l Sunny had pretty good performance considering, even after I put 2 12" subwoofers plus amps etc in the boot

This brings same good memories of times when one large subwoofer was a must. My Dihatsu Charade got that extra boost...
Nostalgia is really kicking in after reading the next content guesses. Fingers crossed.

My starter car in Gran Turismo 2. This is going to be so cool !!!!!!
The Pulsar makes for a hilarious teaser when compared to other recent teasers. Nice addition though, if that’s indeed a correct guess.

For real though it's like

Italdesign Zerouno
Lamborghini Huracan Performante
Ferrari 488 Pista
Aston Martin Vulcan AMR Pro
Nissan Pulsar

I know I missed s bunch but it only seems more out of place the more cars you think about in these teasers.

Two notes:
- The 323GT-R is mentioned in FH4's files so it's very likely to come
- You've bolded the 1998 GTI VR6 but Forza has this one.

In January of last year, Hoonigan posted this video of Larry Chen getting his R32 GT-R at Sean Morris' shop.

What does that have to do with anything? Watch at 0:50-ish seconds. I was wondering at the time which game team was laser scanning that, seeing how none of them have branded uniforms... guess I know now.

Brought the house for 750k that comes with three Super Wheelspins hoping to win some cash and some cars and ended up with nine emotes/pieces of clothing- to say I was unhappy about this was an understatement..Shortly afterwards I picked up another Super Wheelspin and pulled off McLaren F1/180k cash/ Mustang GT500 which is far and away the best Super Wheelspin I've ever had. Love the McLaren. That V12 certainly sounds much better then the Racing V12 engine thats for sure.
