Not to start anything. I just find it kinda funny. All the cars that are coming were part of the past GT games but are missing in Sport. Ok, the Puma had a different engine, Starion was a racing version and the 205 was a Turbo.

Starion was in FM4 as well.

Starion was in FM4 as well.

And the 205 Turbo T16 has been in game since the OG Forza Horizon, too.

Is this the first car game (outside of rallying titles such as DiRT) to feature the front-engined 205? Can't wait to take a corner at full throttle and kill myself with lift-off oversteer.

GT2 had the 205 GTi & the Rallye. There was even a license test where you had to get through a slalom with 205 GTi.

I can't believe I called the ST205!
"An icon across Desert, Forest, and Mountain."

Those are the three stages in the original SEGA Rally. I'm thinking that it's the ST205 Celica.

Anywho, I’m a fan of all the cars here, and that’s not something I’d say about the past few
updates.

But with all the fingers pointing to rally cars, I was really hoping for something like Horizon 1’s rally expansion as a surprise. (If you’re out of the loop, I have details in the spoiler.)

Horizon 1 (back when it was just Forza Horizon) had a rally expansion. It didn’t introduce new areas like FH4’s expansions have, but it did repave the roads to make them offroad/rally friendly. You couldn’t free drive on the rally-friendly map, but here’s the kicker: the expansion had some rallies for you to do, with four stages each. The rally experience was also there, complete with a co-driver and detailed pacenotes. It’s a shame that FH1’s DLC is no longer available. A Horizon Story where this is all brought back would have been brilliant along with the cars.

Forza 8 will be epic looking at all the new cars. Like Gran Turismo 2 but in 4k.
Ahhh, Gran Turismo 2. :embarrassed: My all time favorite GT ever. I was playing that a few nights ago and was driving the Mugen Civic I won. It was a blast from the past! :D

I seriously can not wait to drive the new cars in FH4, really. I'm blown away by the fact that we're getting two Toyotas in one update! The Celicas ST185 and ST205! The rest of the cars I'm just mad in love with. I mean, even the Ford Racing Puma from GT2! This is freaking epic, THE best update yet!

I can't believe I called the ST205!

It was a very good line of reasoning, but I am guilty of dismissing it out of hand thinking, "oh, they aren't going to give us two Toyotas in a month, are they?".

Never been a super-fan of the blob eye Celica, so having that instead of the DS23 stings a bit... But the day of the Shark will come eventually.

Finally, I can drive my favorite car in my favorite game.
And I've been waiting for this car for 10 years now.

I feel like this reality is a dream that is going too well.
Today is going to be one of the best days in the 10+ year history of playing Forza for me.

This is just my personal opinion, but I feel like they are also victims of PG's strategy.

FH4 tends to add more cars based on their popularity on the wish list than Forza has in the past.
This is probably part of a strategy to increase the number of players who play FH4 on a continuous basis.
The result has been the addition of one popular hypercar after another over a short period of time, such as the Pista, Performante and Chiron.
And a hypercar/supercar makes a good billboard. Therefore, it was not uncommon for at least one of these cars to be included in the monthly update.

As a result of the accumulation of these events, the fan base of these cars became mistaken, as if supercars/hyper cars were their top priority content. That's how it seems to me.

*Of course, there's no denying that these cars are actually popular content.
