I found the 7,000,000 points really easy. I just took out the Land Rover barn find, maxed out the car and it's skill tree, and did exactly what I do to farm skill points in my M6 FE. Took about 30 minutes.

Thankfully I read the horror stories from other people and did the 7,000,000 in one sitting. It didn't take that long using a maxed out Land Rover FE at the beach. Of course it would have gone even faster if someone learned to just bank the skills instead of trying to hit one more jump.

I did this last night, there was a couple of times I had 1 million+ chains going on, and would lose them.

On a side note, it finally let me through the race one. I don’t know what I did different, I was using the Raptor for several cross country races in a row, and on the last one it gave me it. Something is way out of wack with it though.

That perk is great, but doesn't help much when you land on your roof/side and it resets you.

Also, the 959 Rally Raid is amazing!

I haven’t had any issues completing the weekly Forzathons so far.

The Land Rover FE is perfect for getting the 7 million points. Unlocked all the perks, went to the beach, had skills songs play a few times and it was done quicker than I expected.

100% agreed.

That perk is great, but doesn't help much when you land on your roof/side and it resets you.

On several occasions I've rolled my car while farming skill points out at the beach and kept the chain alive thanks to having unlocked that 25 point "laugh in the face of danger" perk.

My guess about the missing Skill Score: if you quit the game before doing anything major (buying a car, earning a wheelspin, completing a race), auto save won’t have kicked in.

I lost 500k Thursday night because I had paused right after banking it, and then shut down the game. Make sure you do something, even if it’s as simple as changing your home base.

Ah, that could be it. I do recall my score actually staying saved yesterday evening when I turned my game off to go eat dinner. It was still there when I came back later at night.

It could be an issue with local vs online game saves.

I said that at first and then I said that I found out that it wasn’t actually that and that you were correct. I even explained what I’ve found out after researching into it. What exactly is the problem with that and why are you so argumentative about the subject of me losing points? It’s ridiculous what ever you’re trying to do. In any case I wasn’t far off base anyways because I had points when I got on, and they were gone as I started playing, it just so happened to be that they were essentially gone even though they still showed at first.

Anything else you want to unnecessarily argue about as if I’m making up some stupid lie?

The later half of my first two million all were earned by doing multiple races, one after the other, so I’m not so sure.

After running just one co-op championship, I learned to just skip them entirely. It's not worth the headache of being annoyed at being friendly fired upon every race.

I have just tried it. Every time you bank a skill point the game perform an auto save. It will save your data even if you quit after 2 seconds. So it sure is a Forzathon bug or something similar.

I remember in one of the pre-release streams Ralph mentioned you needed to be strategic with FP, like for example decide to buy something now, or save up for a possible bigger reward next week. Reality is a lot different lol.

On a new reset every FP reward I don’t have I instantly buy, the rest of the week I blow excessive FPs on super wheelspins, probably around 10-15 of them.

Does anyone feel like 1000+ horsepower isn't as viable in this game as it was in FH3? The tracks and roads don't really allow me to use that sort of power effectively. For this reason I don't enjoy cars like the Pagani Zonda R FE Or TVR Sagaris FE. Without AWD/4WD that level of power seems uncontrollable.

It isn't, though: remember that he's talking about the general population, not the power users that dedicate hours to the game each day.

It's the same with the castles, really: most players will see them as a long-term goal, even if some of us already own one or both.

I only buy the exclusives from the shop. I have the 911 GT3, 812 and the Colorado. And if I'm right, the Civic should be the Spring exclusive.

I'm not worried about buying the FE's since you can also win them from Super Spins.

I don't know what the hell is up with the game tonight but its crashed twice on startup, then once on an auction page and just now it literally just killed the whole computer and made it reboot when i was trying to get in game. Think i will leave it for tonight and try again tomorrow it scared the crap out of me just everything going blank.

Try not to get paranoid over something that isn't overtly offensive. Besides, I saw no disagreement, but rather some conflicting observations over what was causing earned points to disappear. I like to see it as constructive bug scrutiny.

I'm getting more and more convinced that server instability is to blame, so getting the farming done fast and in one go is probably the best approach
