Does anyone have a favorite spot for "Threading The Needle" skills?? I can't seem to find enough traffic to make it happen.

The road that leads to the entrance to Edinburgh Castle. Also you need to go offline to have a lot more traffic.

Was away from the game for a few weeks but I did checked from time to time and now that Spring is back I'm kind of disappointed that the Capri FE is still locked for everybody that did't played the pre-release game. Why PG decided to put the Capri in the shop on the first week is something I can't understand. I haven't seen the car on any wheelspin yet (does anybody seen the car on any wheelspin?).

I was wondering the same. I just generated the following list of full cars from Kudosprime users "garage", ranked by frequency: most frequent to less frequent. Look at the very last entry...

As far as I can find online the Focus PO and AMG GT R PO were never available from any retailers, someone on the FH4 forums claims to have seen the Nissan GT-R PO in game but I can't find any proof of which retailer it supposedly came from either.

So I'm yet to unlock Goliath, I understand its on level 20 road race series, but I'm on level 14 and no new road races are being unlocked, do I keep re-doing them until Goliath is available?

Pretty much.
I recommend the Colossus, it's long, fast, and a lot of fun.

Okay, right now it sort of feels like I have nothing to do in game but I have loads to do! Still got the danger signs, speed zones and traps to three star ad things like that.

Pretty much.
I recommend the Colossus, it's long, fast, and a lot of fun.

And don't forget about route creator routes! Whether you just download some grind ones or have fun making/playing some fun ones it makes it a bit less repetitive getting to level 20.

You can do the Seasonal Championships for level-ups on any series. From my understanding, every series (Road, Dirt, Cross Country, Drag, etc) all go up to 20.

I made a 26 mile track, 5 laps with the classic race cars, Lola T70 and those cars. Takes about an hour and will rack up levels and skill.

Starts on the south end of the freeway just past the roundabout.

Also anybody witness some strange AI defending their lines? I’ve had them open up their steering a little in corners to hit me, move into me on straights and divebombs. It’s quite frustrating really especially in short events that I’m determined to catch up and win.

I once again find myself hating the Caterham. The only way to not have it being a twitchy mess is converting it to AWD :indiff:

I bought Bamburgh first, but it really doesn't matter.

I've been thinking the same thing about AI blocking me since I first started playing the game. They are definitely altering their lines to make themselves as wide as possible. They will dart from one side of the track to the other just to get in my way, even to the point of spinning out trying to get in front of me. This is definitely new behavior for the AI.

I'm not an artist by any means, especially when it comes to the livery editor but is anyone else finding that its aged terribly at this point? I'm trying to make a Devil Z replica and I'm just utterly demotivated every single time; you can't apply the novelty finishes (like chrome) to decals in the editor, you can't apply specific finishes to a part (again, like chrome for the bumper), and for some reason you can't paint plastic parts?

Who cares? It's a game, let me paint any and everything unless the manufacturer (thinking of you, Ferrari) are meticulously pedantic about things like that. I know the update is on the way but it isn't going to fix some of the deeper issues with the livery editor. Only a full-on redesign can knock that tree down.

I feel you. The car just feels way too light for the suspension model in Forza games.

That and for whatever reason PG thinks it ought to be an S class car...

I’ve thought it for a while but always thought it was just me being an agressive driver but the more I carefully watch whilst racing, the more obvious becomes. Won’t lie I do not have any ideas to change it without making them conplete pushovers but I’m not a fan. (Don’t think this is some sort of hate, I adore FH!

)

Would love some sort of qualifying as silly as it sounds.

I prefer the Alfa P3 to the Bentley, other than that it's much of a muchness, really.

@Terronium-12 so many things have aged poorly yet they keep getting rolled into the next game. Even just small things like the stupid abbreviated names; that made sense when people were playing on SDTVs that couldn't render small text legibly, but now they only use those short names like "M-B AMG GT" because the UI is so dated, there are ways to write the full names now!

Or the fact that the third person cameras seem to orbit the rear axle specifically, so if you turn the camera you can't see your whole car - not a big deal at all but that dates back to the very first game.

And the UI in general is a complete mess, upgrading cars is tedious because you have to keep entering and exiting menus to select parts. I think it's been left that way because it does at least do the job, but it doesn't do it especially well in my opinion.

The speed stat is lower, the rest were the same when I checked (briefly). Maybe it has more downforce or something?

Edit: using the magic of remote desktop I had another look while on my lunch break. The old Hoonicorn is 0.3 faster on the garage stats and its 1st gear ratio is 2.65 vs the Newnicorn's 2.60. I didn't check the suspension or brake settings but downforce and diff settings are the same, same power, torque, weight, weight distribution and PI too, so it's just a reskin with a mysterious but negligible difference in speed.

Maybe the mastery trees are at least different, I can't be bothered to log back in though.

Thought just get the biggest purchase out of the way and bought the Edinburgh castle! Now to work up to the other one :lol:

I noticed for the most recent Can Am Maverick DLC buggy that adding fully customisable transmission lowers the PI rating from around 690 to 623! I’m gonna have to test to see if the performance drop according to the stats translates, otherwise major potential for good builds which have probably already been found.

Maverick employs CVT, and if you install a race spec transmission, it will be changed to general 6 speed.
Due to this change the PI may be decreasing.

Funny you mention abbreviated names as I wish they'd use them in the Auction House. When doing a model search for a Cayman GT4 or Cayman GTS you have no idea what you're selecting because it cuts both names off at Cayman, there are a few more examples too that I can't remember off the top of my head.

Have you tried dropping the caster low?

From what I'm finding almost all twitchyness can be removed via caster and camber.
Higher camber / lower caster seems to be the less twitchy way to go, but in extreme cases, low caster and low camber helps greatly.

They do a bit. Sure they’re not 100% accurate to the actual car but their a good indicator if the car is best at speed, acceleration or handling.

Although if you’re buying adjustable parts then they don’t matter as the stats don’t take tuning into account.

Personally I keep my cars 90% stock so the stats are a good indicator of performance for me

I tried to fill that information as much as possible on Kudosprime (the alternate name appears in a little white box), and i counted two duplicates so far on 432 shortnames: the Cayman and the Cayenne.

Would it be so hard for you to just...observe? Look around? I don't know any better way to put it but you seem so clueless playing this game.

I no longer have the 65 with the carbs sticking thru the roof for what reason I dont know but I now have this car so I thought I would ask.

I have looked for it in all cars, not there anymore either. I guess they lost rights to the car maybe, not sure why I would lose the car otherwise.

Thanks, you have always been patient with me and I appreciate it. It is like this thing now with the 65 Ford Mustang with the carbs thru the hood or "scoops" as they used to call them I think.

I had the car, now I dont. I dont see the car in the browse all cars. Maybe this has been answered and I missed it.

As to people losing patience, I get it. Having been an internet poster on message boards for many many years, mostly political or music, the one thing I never understood and I mean this sincerely is why anyone wastes their time responding to someone because someone is asking what you perceive and very well may be a stupid question, to put it bluntly. My questions are often me being lazy, I could spend more time researching but you guys have been an easy source so I sometimes abuse it.

Anyway, thanks for your attitude, it is noted and appreciated!

When I started HZ 2 I think you saved my ass, I would never have figured out the progression of the game, how to go from one to the next as it is not simple like with Forza 7 or Gran Turismo.

I am curious what the average age of the player is here and encouraging senior citizens like myself to play video games might be in the long run better all around!
