Was only wondering why saying over 43k with a Peel is suddenly a huge achivement (as that sure seems like "I don't care I can probably do/did it in xxxxx car!"). Sure it can be hard for those who don't drive that car much, and I probably would need alot of practice to handle it.
What's the achievement in telling someone that is having a hard time with drift zones that you can get over 42k points on a bad day?

Sure, if ironic or sarcastic tone was in my comments, thats only who I am. Was never meant to be rude at anyone.

But I will say. You guys sure go for a witch-hunt whenever you can.... :odd:

:lol: right. There was nothing ironic in that statement, and I'm not sure how "And?" is a sarcastic retort. Try not to grasp too much, as I'm not sure what "you guys" mean since I've only mentioned this. Weird attitude to have just because someone one-uped your one-up.

Will have to be careful to not send out a friendly challenge in the future. Have a good one.

Heh, whoever guessed we'd get the missing FM7 wheels as the new ones was right. 👎

New paint options are pretty nice, though.

That very slight difference is probably due to a snap effect:
The first value, default, appears as 50/50 but internally it would be not exactly that (the user-friendly scale of 0-100 is probably a mapping of totally different hidden range of values that the game physics work with)
When you move the slider, it snaps to exactly 49, then exactly 50 and translate that in the original and hidden scale of value: the starting and ending settings would then be different.
I replicated it multiple times with multiple settings, including setting that had already been changed, such as lsd front decel also.

I can't say it happens with every car every time but it's definitely out there.

Center cap, Spoke, Inner Barrel, Outer lip.
The advanced paint option of the wheel is very good.
 
On the subject of stats not reflecting, or mattering for that instance, I don't exactly disagree but I do use it as a gauge for what I should aim for for a certain class. For instance, in A-class I tend to use 5.6-5.8 for handling - higher/lower depending on if I want more power, or more handling, usually depending on allowed wheel width. It seems to work out rather well, in my opinion.

Anyways, how about that new paint options guys. Haven't popped the game in in about a month, but do all the rims get the same exact options? Wondering mainly about those with lips and those without. Looking forward to some polished lips with a brushed or colored face.

Yeah, does anyone want to recap the stream for some of us who didn't watch?

From what I've watched, they touched briefly on the new paint options, showed the exact same Fortune Island clip we've seen a few weeks ago and then raced some of the community created routes.

Some good fixes, though. No more checkpoint limit in route creator, and it'll show you how many you currently have.
 
We got an advanced option, but even with this option factory decal seems to be stripped.
To be fair, he did not scroll through the factory color options when painting the Decal covered part of the car. Possible you could still choose the Factory Decal color options, as it still had the decal before he switched to the Special Colors tab.

No more checkpoint limit in route creator, and it'll show you how many you currently have.

Time to update Stage 2 of my Gambler 500 route since I will be able to get the full route I had originally planned without running out of checkpoints.

EDIT:
  • Fixed an issue in Route Blueprint where players could run out of checkpoints preventing them from being able to finish route creation.
  • Added information to the Route Blueprint UI to show how many checkpoints have been placed, and how many are left to be placed.
That last part means there is still a limit. Maybe they just fixed the issue where you could not place a finish line once you hit the checkpoint limit. Hopefully they at least raised the checkpoint limit. Anybody know what the limit is now (pre-update)?

Ah, well, I'm really hoping they finally fixed the various connectivity issues and keeping player sessions at 72 consistently instead of dwindling over time.
