I am curious what the average age of the player is here and encouraging senior citizens like myself to play video games might be in the long run better all around!

I'll be 56 in a couple weeks.

Anyone having issues with the 3-star PR stunt ?

I've given it up as a lost cause. I can't see any way to get to 40,000 points in such a short distance. I'm lucky I was able to get 30,000 points to three-star it.

Got 42,037 points in the #118 Nissan 240SX Formula Drift car... And that was a bad run.

Should be easily able to achieve 40k in any decent drift car. :P

I'll take the middle ground, as I'm about to be 35.

They do a bit. Sure they’re not 100% accurate to the actual car but their a good indicator if the car is best at speed, acceleration or handling.

Although if you’re buying adjustable parts then they don’t matter as the stats don’t take tuning into account.

Personally I keep my cars 90% stock so the stats are a good indicator of performance for me
I haven't exactly tested it, and I haven't really checked into stock vs tuned either.
I just know it seems everytime I look at them, they're not very indicative of actual performance.

Basically they're so inaccurate, from what I've seen, that I normally don't even look at them.

This also somewhat applies to the projected stats in the tuning screen, particularly with braking.
I've actually seen a few cases where changing numbers and returning them back still changes the projected stopping distance.
Example
Brake bias 50/50 - stopping distance from 60, 126.0ft
Brake bias 49/51 - stopping distance from 60, 125.7ft
Brake bias back to 50/50 - stopping distance from 60, 127.2ft

Also, fun things like brake pressure, reducing it usually reduces stopping distance, because you can balance it so maximum braking power puts you right on the threshold of lockup similar to non-abs.

I tried to fill that information as much as possible on Kudosprime (the alternate name appears in a little white box), and i counted two duplicates so far on 432 shortnames: the Cayman and the Cayenne.

Found one more, the McLaren Senna is listed 3 times! Makes even less sense when you realise they’re probably the AE and SE variants used in the game intro and obviously completely unobtainable.

Firstly apologies if this has been answered but for the life of me i couldn't find the answer. Now how do you level up the "Playground Games" in my horizon life. TIA.

You play Playground Games (Infected, King, etc.) online

Example
Brake bias 50/50 - stopping distance from 60, 126.0ft
Brake bias 49/51 - stopping distance from 60, 125.7ft
Brake bias back to 50/50 - stopping distance from 60, 127.2ft
That very slight difference is probably due to a snap effect:
The first value, default, appears as 50/50 but internally it would be not exactly that (the user-friendly scale of 0-100 is probably a mapping of totally different hidden range of values that the game physics work with)
When you move the slider, it snaps to exactly 49, then exactly 50 and translate that in the original and hidden scale of value: the starting and ending settings would then be different.

Seriously what's with the unnecessary attitude? :odd:
Theres no unnecessary attitude here.

Hence the

He replied that he was looking forward to me going for a limousine run, when I never said I would. So I simply replied in similar manner.

If thats an attitude, then its not me whos having issues. :P

The use of  didn’t really change anything.

You made a strong claim you could get a certain score with a certain car, I wouldn’t be surprised someone is challenging you to prove it. Seeing as you claimed it, the ball is in your court.

So I must reach a certain score with a certain car because someone makes a claim for me to do it? That's very logical.

Specially since I never stated that I had or would do it. I said probably. And you (as in him or any others).

If anyone wants to go ahead and try it, be my guest. If not, i'm cool with that. I must say I really don't care either way, but people sure like to make discussions out of it.

I'm gonna spend my time in FH4 doing whatever I like, not what people demand/want/claim/look forward too.

Leave the discussion here, shall we? ;)

Sure, that's ok, but it's almost as if you got offended that someone challenged you and beat you're score with a car that is absolutely ridiculous. Then you go on to say something along the lines of "I don't care someone can probably do it in xxxxx car!" all the while followed by snarky comments. You seemed to suck the fun out of that completely.

Regardless, I would imagine it would be easier to do it in the Limo than the Peel. Surprised he even managed to beat you with it in the first place.

The burden of proof lies with the person making a claim. You don't have to do anything, just don't be shocked/mad when people expect you to back it up.

Sure, all I'm saying is consider being less rude to other users.

Well, I will apologize if I seemed offended.

Was only wondering why saying over 43k with a Peel is suddenly a huge achivement (as that sure seems like "I don't care I can probably do/did it in xxxxx car!"). Sure it can be hard for those who don't drive that car much, and I probably would need alot of practice to handle it.

I could certainly have phrased myself better, but thats the wonders of english as a 2nd language.

I don't disagree. But again I never said I would do it or had done it. I said it can probably be done.

Of course, I didn't (and generally don't) try to be rude to anyone. Im all for a good discussion. Again, might be poorly worded on my part.

Let the normal discussions and talks continue then.
