Not that I expected anything different, but the trend of eliminating more "pedestrian vehicles" continues. I realize video games are at least partially about exploring fantasies not available in the real world (like driving hypercars) but there are also more mundane fantasies (like driving your own car, or at least something similar, in irresponsible ways without consequence) that I think are worth something. By my count there are 30 front wheel drive cars and 32 Ferraris. That's pretty lopsided, IMO.
Does anyone read the magazine Modern Classics? As with most motoring publications (printed in English anyways) it's published in the UK and it's all about the classics of the 80s and 90s. I would think a title like Forza Horizon 4, set in the UK, would be ripe for featuring more of these machines. Where's the Alfa Romeo 147 GTA? Honda Accord Type R? Nissan Primera 20V? Mazda 323 GTR? How about a TVR Cerbera or Griffith? Or switching to more contemporary vehicles, things like the Suzuki Swift or Renault Twingo.
I guess Gen-Z (the influenced generation) is really the target here. Now pardon me, I have to go and yell at people to get off my lawn.
