Forza Horizon 4 Officially Goes Gold, Demo Now Available

I managed to glitch onto an unaccessinac area of the map (west side of Derwent Water) by driving though the lake until the car finally went underwater. Had a black screen for about a minute then the car spawned in the west side. Couldn't drive at all unfortunately and the map wasnt rendered properly. I managed this on the Xbox just by being curious how deep I could drive haha! I've uploaded a clip of the spawned car to YouTube:

After my poor Xbox one had to pull the all nighter downloading the demo, my rough impression is that FM7 and FH2 had a gorgeous baby!

I cancelled the demo download, because my internet is slow AF and it would have finished yet anyways, and I have a lot of work to finish for a Fallout 4 mod I'm working on, and If I had the Demo I'd get too distracted playing it to get any work done.
Going to hold out so I can experience it all when the game releases.

It is good to hear FH4 runs better then FH3 on PC, I can already run FH3 at 60FPS on Ultra at 3200x1800.

For anyone playing on PC, Is there a Dynamic Resolution Scaling setting like in FM7?

The Escort's engine was actually swapped with a rally engine last I checked. That's why it sounds different.

Just like you, I was also surprised to find out that the Escort sounded different as well. It sounded nothing like its Cosworth engine, so I had a speak at "Engine Swap" and found out it had a 1.4L I4 Turbo Rally.

To be fair though, demos are first and foremost made for those who don't know whether they want to buy a game or not. It appears you've already made your decision.

What a total bummer, i turned the xbox off this afternoon, put it back on to have another blast ,and nothing at all saved and you gotta do the begining 10-15 min intro again, er no thanks im not doing that everyday....And im not leaving the machine on for weeks untill the game comes out...grrrrrr

You can just shut down your xbox(without exiting the demo) if you want to. But than you can't play any other game. I think I'm done with the demo too. I played for 6, maybe 8h. Now I can wait for the UE.

I found 139. Some of them are really hard to find. Not sure but if you're fast enough you can get 1 on those reset roads too. I have restarted the demo so I'm done withe those.

I tried the demo on the old Xbox One and I'm not sure what's going on. My first impression was that the game is rough around the edges and the gameplay is disconnected from the Forza experience in a way I cannot describe.
