I've just made a Datsun 510 for this week's The Trial, so you don't need to:

866 414 634

Fairly neutral, little bit of mid-corner understeer maybe, not sure what the tracks are but it should reach 140 on the straight bits.
Yes, this was a great tune. I easily won both trial races with a significant lead over the AI (and the monkeys humans).

We only won race 1 because 3 of the humans rage quit from the back just before the end of the race, reducing the AI points score. Then in race 2 we had me in the lead, one guy mid pack and one guy at the back, which was just enough points to scrape victory.

<sigh> How can so many people, all with tuned cars, be so bad at a slow B class street race?

Anyone having trouble with the Retro Hot Hatch PR Stunts in DLC this week could do worse than to try ThinkingKnot778's 1994 Honda Prelude SI stunt tune (share code: 690 745 991) which worked on both the Hot Wheels and Rally Adventure challenges for me.

I ended up coming 9th in the second race. Admittedly I was 2nd for most of it and catching up on PP until some miscreant sideswiped me into a tree on the last corner, though. Kinda gave up the will to live after that but I can't blame @Famine's tuning setup which was stable and pacey on the turns.

The FH4 forum isn't active, but yesterday I loaded it for the first time since getting a Series S. It reloaded the game to the internal hard drive (since the external drive I use with my older XBox One won't work with X/S games) added a Panic Button splash and seems...worse. Don't suppose there's a way to resort to the old version. So sadly I'll likely say farewell to the UK. We had some times.

Anyway, FH5. I haven't gotten the speed zone challenge this week. Tried a couple of my near stock cars and only got within 30KPH or so. I may try to find a tune. But I have all the cars offered so far this week.

I'm also skipping the daily challenges that involve replaying the Donut stuff. But judging by how many players in the Playground and Trial (thanks for the Tune, btw) repeatedly use the Donut horns, a lot of people love the addition.

can be this the forza tuesday?

They have a bunch of SVJs and AMG GT Black series on the auction house if anyone wants a duplicate. Bad thing is they’re all 20 million credit buy out cars.

This isn't even real. As far as I am concerned the first image is from FH2, the second image is just a Lancer Evo VIII.

Yeah, it's literally an official promo shot for FH2 FNF with the game name wiped off the top.

I don't see why people keep believing that some random social media account is posting official Playground Games announcements and not just wishlisting or pretending.

So I looked back at the Summer Party splash screen on the Festival Playlist and I realized something. The last time that screen advertised a new Horizon Story, a makeover for the map, AND new seasonal collectibles was back in Donut Media Part One, I believe. I'm almost wondering if this is a sponsored Series for the Barbie movie--wouldn't surprise me, considering Mattel's in a close partnership with Microsoft on this front.

Honestly I'd be cool with a new house too, but I honestly wouldn't know where it'd go. I'd expect something closer to what was done for Horizon Anniversary--the Barbie House is hidden in a new place on the map every season, and if there're seasonal collectibles they'll be hidden in that general area.

Granted that's assuming this IS a Barbie movie sponsored Series, I'm more inclined to believe that it's a Ramiro-focused Series considering the use of his pilot hat and goggles to represent the Story on that splash screen, but it's worth mentioning.

What kills this idea for me is the fact that they released the Barbie cars this month. If they were doing a full branded series to tie in with the movie's release, why wouldn't they keep them back until then? It'd be an even worse design than 'Fordzathon'.

Here's my line of thinking: We know now that there will be folks from Xbox taking part in a demo stream showing these cars off two days from now. Advertising campaigns like this may have multiple facets to them--Extreme E, for example, wasn't just the sponsored Series, it also came with unique rules for circuit racing championships, all of the Extreme E cars came with the same skill tree that almost instantly came with a skill score multiplier buff, and they struck a deal with Microsoft to make FH5 the sport's Official Videogame(tm). Mattel's got enough money invested in this to not only commission two car models, but also get a livestream event where those cars are shown off when it'd have been cheaper to just gift everyone the cars and let that drum up interest.

It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if a sponsored series was inbound too--though I'm hedging my bets more towards the Ramiro-focused theory.

Hmm i found this placeholder image on the file for Horizon Story Banner. What i found interesting is that the picture seems to be a composite of real images put together. (probably some sort of concept art?)
That's definitely concept art, and typically these don't indicate anything about content in a game, just the vibes.

Maybe we'll get some kind of damage-enabled demolition derby or car sumo event so that Rami can start living up to his name.

The story missions could perhaps be delivered via exploding props complete with hissing fuses to tie in with the new Mission: Impossible movie.

Don't remind me--that was honestly my first impression of what 'lucha de carreteras' was back when I first played that Story, lol.
