same ill miss the deltas even more though.I really hope the missing Stellantis (god I hate that name) brands make it back in. I would really hate to lose my Fulvia.
The thing i find really strange it's Peugeot, Jeep, Maserati and Opel/Vauxhall are in the game, and they also from Stellantis Group. :-/I really hope the missing Stellantis (god I hate that name) brands make it back in. I would really hate to lose my Fulvia.
They seem to be doing fine at attracting older players far as I can see.Sure, the story and premise itself can seem "childish"(not even sure if I'd call it that), not really sure what else would be considered childish though.
Yeah the comment doesn't really make sense as it seems they're garnering a good amount of attention from every demographic. I know we don't represent much in the grand scheme of things here, but even us here seem to span a good age range. They seem to be doing fine at attracting older players far as I can see.
I'm not sure what you mean by childish. When I heard some of the dialogue, I immediately thought of Need For Speed and said to myself "Oh no. Why?" because I hate that the story is so unbearably cheesy. It tries to appeal to people that...aren't going to play the game and it makes everyone else, such as myself, want to rip the disc out of the system (even if it's digital) and shove it down someone's throat.Horizon 5 looks like nearly childish like Part 4. Especially when i see the story scenes. Why they cant make it a Bit more seriously. To get the Older playership, too. Im asking me.
The FH series seem content with providing just enough of a premise to make the whole "situation" plausible (the situation being flying[?] to a foreign country to race around a constricted area of that country for an indeterminate time for no other specific reason) without having to really develop characters or plots beyond the cardboard cutout stage. I'd characterize it as a bare minimum response to the question "why am I here?"I'm not sure what you mean by childish. I do not care about story in a racing game unless it's actually crafted to have a story; a real story. Just let me race.
I'm perfectly fine with narratives. Horizon would definitely be a better game if that were better, among the other issues. Actually, I just thought of the perfect explanation: it's the Forza universe equivalent of the Olympics. Boom, solved. The FH series seem content with providing just enough of a premise to make the whole "situation" plausible (the situation being flying[?] to a foreign country to race around a constricted area of that country for an indeterminate time for no other specific reason) without having to really develop characters or plots beyond the cardboard cutout stage. In terms of narrative strategies, I'd rate this one as just below the amnesia trope - which...actually might provide an interesting alternative approach for a future FH title...instead of offering a reason for you to be there, the game invites you to figure it out, through barn finds, signs, street races, etc. I'm kidding, maybe.
I thought indeed about Need for Speed story, but the older ones. From the 2000‘s. They werent so extreme and gave a story. Not the actual ones, which were not so mine, too.I'm not sure what you mean by childish. When I heard some of the dialogue, I immediately thought of Need For Speed and said to myself "Oh no. Interesting idea, based on the 7s thingy, can't see myself being so successful at it though..I'm perfectly fine with narratives. You can watch DJS's videos. His stuff isn't very spoiler-y compared to AR12...Haven't watched any of the preview build videos that Youtubers are putting up, think there might be too many spoilers....I'm tempted though!!

Joewon just posted another video feature his Top 10 Favorite Hypercars, as well as showcasing there engine sounds! And let me tell you, they all sound SEXY!
Oh, and also this.
Car sounds are much much better, especially theCLK-GTR that they made into a FE though i'm not sure if i'm a fan of the giant Pikes peak sized wing it has, I just hoped they atleast replicated the very distinct intake sound it has.
I believe the wing is meant to replicate the actual real track-going CLK GTR's wing. When I first saw it in someone else's video, I screamed "NFS III Hot Pursuit!!" out loud! It's amazing seeing a replica version of it in FH5.
wing is still too big though. dont get me wrong it's still better than the forza aero wing. and am loving the way it looks on the clk. but, if u look at the clk gtr the wing is actually a bit smaller and lower to the car
Now, there is a rumor going around that all Rocket Bunny/Greddy body kits have been removed.
And while that seems to be true, I have found other evidence in this video.
Their logo is not even in the list of manufacturer decals.
It appears that a "licensing issue" has occurred with their body kits.
Note: Liberty Walk, RWB, and Rocket Bunny manufacturer decals were available for cars where their body kits were not available.
