Please no...

This week has some interesting challenges: the trial is with the 2014 Ford ute in B class. I was the only one who had a tuned car.
So I got to the front of the pack and started blocking the ai cars. Didn´t work very well in the first race because people were all over the place with their rear wheel drive muscle car. But we managed to win the 2nd and 3rd race comfortably.
The playground games this week uses the Bone Shaker Monster Truck which is kinda fun because everyone has to use it bone stock of course. The driving is a little wonky.
The eventlab on the main land was bad again. The eventlab island one was ok with all the different routes to pick from

The next update will be themed around muscle cars, I don't think there will be any Chinese cars coming next month.
Now, what are the odds we get a #Fordzathon situation with cars being added that have nothing to do with muscle cars? :P
Maybe they can put as a carpack just like last time or one after this one, in anyways i just hope they put more asian daily cars
Please no...
too late lol

Oom-pah music on the map screen and coming from the bonus boards if they make the spectacularly ill-timed decision to set the game in the same region of Germany as their ACE would-be competitors.
Well, I've been playing ACE and while their "open world" is indeed coming, I don't think they will be head-to-head competitors. I can't imagine pulling FH-style shenanigans there.

I'm just hoping they're not influenced by their other "competitor" Motor Town into adding dishwasher and garbage-collector side hustles as I'd rather hoon and race for money than deliver goods and mail.

I wonder if they will keep adding cars for this year tho, one of the things i liked about FH4 to FH5 transition was the fact that car updates for FH4 only finshed truly when FH5 was announced, i hope they continue with it
I'll bet we get one more update after Midnight Muscle, then that'll be it. The Start Screen Selector implies we won't be getting any more major updates like Horizon Retrowave, and Fable feels like it'll take a year or two to really take root before FH6 is allowed to become a thing. If it's on ForzaTech, then it'll really need the extra time a full-on non-Forza release from PG will provide.

Had a very strange thing happen in this week's The Trial...

My first run through went well and the B rank rear wheel drive Ute was surprisingly fun in a rally setting, so I jumped in for a second go; that's when things got weird.

About 1/3rd through the first race, I'm in fourth position behind two A.I. cars and another player in first. First place misses a checkpoint, drops back to 10th or 11th. Another player is behind me driving erratically and trying to pass when he bounces off a wall or something and drops back out of sight, and right after that the A.I. cars in front of me simultaneously sink through the road over the space of a second or two, still driving as if nothing happened until they're completely under the road. The ranking board goes through some chaotic shuffling for maybe ten seconds while the A.I. cars all drop to the back half of the field and the other players change positions rapidly. Over the next ten or twenty seconds, four players drop out one by one, until it's just me in first, a field of AI cars, and the guy that had been driving erratically in last place. Everyone remaining maintains position until the end of the race. Second and third place A.I. cross finish line normally, the rest of the A.I. cars cross the finish line in a block about 1.5 car lengths long. The sole remaining player doesn't make it to the finish line in time.

Second race went normally, with previous last place in first and me in fourth, resulting in a win for the player team.

So what do you guys think, was the weirdness with the A.I. in the first race a random bug, or an angry player hacking?

Just sounds like network issues to me, players desyncing and appearing to do weird things, and the AI cars being affected by the host dropping out. The AI finishing in a solid block of bumper to bumper cars is a common bug in solo races too, I think they all get a massive boost to finish the race after the player does.
