Hi guys I may have to buy a 360 for this game.

360 is worth buying without Forza II, it's a great system. Forza II is just gravy. I was a bit hesitant to buy my 360 since I've always been a Sony / Nintendo user prior to this, but I'm glad I bought it.đź‘Ť

Hey Adam can we expect to see some more of your awesome Forza paint jobs?
Oh yeah I will be spending most of my time "painting" cars. And now that I can use 4,100 vinyls per car this means I can make ANYTHING I want. :sly:
I love the new option to lock the vinyls to a car when you sell it. That way the person that buys it cant steal my ideas or modify it and take the credit. There will be a log account that shows who made the car, when they made it, and every person that purchases the car after that. Its basically like a title for the car. đź‘Ť
you better hope it doesn't come out on the 31st like most sites and shops(in my region anyway) are saying...
Yeah I am a little nervous about taking the 2 weeks off based on the 15th release date. But the good news is that the Halo 3 beta is coming out on the 16th so no matter what its a win win situation for me. :)

awsome thanks will read in a min and may put up some of the pics...

EDIT: "Next up, I'd like to shine a huge foglight on an aspect of racing games often overlooked. Why? Because after having watched a certain video by one of our competitors this week, my appreciation for the audio in FM2 has shot up even more. It's just a shame that a game should have its pretty face marred by absolutely primitive car audio. So in the spirit of audio appreciation, let's take a look (and a listen) at all the reasons why Forza 2 really will set the bar for racing sim audio come May."

lol wonder what game that could be...:D

awsome so the demo's out this month, and we get the F1 GT and this...

This is a FM2 real vs game comparison at the Nurburgring camping area, about 2/3 of the way through. I'm not all that impressed. Remember GT4's? Some were so good that people failed the real vs game quiz.

There are layout and elevation issues here. Curbing and barriers/fencing in the wrong location, the environment is off in many ways.

Let's see how many differences you can find in this comparison image, too, including track width and elevation (which affects car handling), again. That hump before the sharper hill is pretty noticable.

I don't think the elevation changes are that big at all tbh, the shots arn't taken from the excact same heights, depth and angles so they won't look the same. Scenery wise, FM2's ring looks far, far more accurate than GT4's. The track itself michtnot be, but to know that we'll we'll have to actually play on it first to find out.

Yea I remember the devs saying they were pushing for a global release (within the same week), so I'm sticking for a late May release in all areas. If it's 15th then I can be pleasantly suprised! :)

thats what it says in the link i posted...

I really don't care how accurate these CG tracks are. It's a game, which can never fully recreate the real world. I'f I wanted an accurate idea of the Nordschleife, I'd drive it myself. As it is, I want it to be as exciting as possible to drive round and PGR2 had the best rendition I've played yet.

yes that version was VERY nice, the way the sun hit the track coming up over that crest about halfway round...

Meh as long as it's close enough I'll be fine, I can't expect game companies to go out and map out every track down to the micrometer.

I think the Japan date should be pushed back, because the Asians have never took a liking to the Forza Series much in my view.

ye and us euros/australasians are stuck at the bottom of the heap as usual:(
6 months behind japan for GT3, GT4, TFATF(got it 2 weeks ago over here:crazy:), and many others:(

Those comparison shots are old and also that is Forza 1 and not Forza 2. ;)
And as stated before that is Road Atlanta and not the Nürburgring.
I'm pretty sure the layouts in Forza 2 are much more accurate this time around.

Well if the difference in release is something over 2 weeks I'll probably import since the last Forza was region free....

Talking about lighting... that's another thing GTHD does very very well on the cars.

From what i'm seeing of the latest Forza Shots, its kind of blasted and doesn't seem to give a lot of tonal disparity and contrast.

Yup, I thought I had clicked on their FM2 link.
I'm usually more careful than that.

Nope. Nurburgring is the top picture, Atlanta is the bottom one.
I just didn't label it as Atlanta.

This remains to be seen, since I haven't seen any comparison pictures yet.
