ye i won't mind to much as i can just switch back to carbon/gt4/lfs etc, eith 900.
plus i have been playing gtr more then anything else lately so it shouldn't bother me to much. Any wheel is better then a controler anyway...

bugga, i had found one(wirless wheel) for under half price but it doesn't come with the ff version of PGR3.

240 degree isnt bad, its fine.
My main problem is that this wheel doesn't seem like anywhere good quality like the G25. I already bought a G25 (and have a DFP as well). There's no way I'm buying a third wheel lol.

Originally thought to be coming May 15, Microsoft confirmed today that Forza 2 will ship May 29. well after looking at all those new videos, i still think the wheels look bad... especially compared to GTHD.

I would rather have the ability to completely customize my cars with body kits, many real life parts, swap engines, swap drive trains, 4,100 completely customizable vinyls per car, change wheel/tire width, wheel/tire diameter, incredible physics, intelligent AI, pick any color I want for my car, paint my wheels any color I want, paint my calipers, 47 tracks, 12 different environments, sell cars online with other players, buy cars online with other players, and...... wait for it.......wait for it......GET PAID TO PLAY WITH 7 FRIENDS ONLINE AT 60FPS IN THE ONLINE CAREER MODE, than have pretty wheels and be all by myself. lmao

Damn dude, Dave's tryin to slay! But really, I did not know that you can sell cars to other players online. That is awesome. So like, you could design your car with custom vinyls and all, and then sell it online? That is awesome!!!

(i assume?)None of that does you much good if you don't enjoy the gameplay. A simulator without a proper wheel is not complete.
Don't get me wrong, I enjoy playing this game with the controller too, but games like these (GT4) really shine with a quality wheel.

oh ye i agree with you on that point 100%. i thought you were talking about wheels as in rims lol. over at forzacentral, they are complaining about the brakes when they go red(valid complaint), the wheels looking to thin when spining(as in spokes, nit picking imo), and....wait for it.... the fact that theres not 3D grass!!! i mean come on they've made this wicked game, and what do they do? Complain about the grass...

Besides if RedOaks only complaint is the graphics of the car wheels in the game then thats actually good.

The career mode in Forza 1 and Forza 2 pays you money for each race depending on how well you do. If you crash or damage your car you get less money. Then the money you get from the races you spend on car parts and other cars or upgrades.Duċk;2642121
Yes any car you make can be sold online to anyone. Now with Forza 2 there will be an auction just like E-bay where you place your car and people bid on it. You can even lock your vinyls and designs so no one can tamper with them or change them. It also keeps track of the owners just like a title.

actually, there's another little thing that bugs me from the videos i've seen. Its the reflective effect on the canopy which is not fluid. All the reflections are pre-rendered (that's fine) but they are jerky and laggy (not fine) and its kind of disapointing.
TDU has some very good (if perhaps simple) reflections on the canopy; as a reference.
For whoever doesn't know what i'm talking about, take a look at the poorly driven GT-R video that was posted. All the shots from the canopy sees the reflections skipping and jerking.
Aside from that, i'm golden

I have to agree. If I didn't have a DFP, I probably would've played GT4 for a few months, accumulating ~40 hours of in-game playtime. But after I bought one, I more or less played it for more than a year, racking up 300+ hours.
Will I eventually buy a wheel? I might, if it's cheap enough on eBay.
Comparing a full fledged sequel to a free, downloadable side project isn't really fair.

ye but only after a whiles use, and it takes a long time to get that bright and usually only after very heavy braking(after mulsane st for examaple lol), but in the game it may as well be an extra brake light. they light up every time you touch them, even more so by the looks of the vid. They are also to bright and to darker a red.
