The glowing rotors are overkill. They may glow more apparently at night , but still . Not to beat the wheel ( steering) thing to death , but it really is a shame they couldn't have just used a logitech . A dfp would have been fine.
Oh well, I guess it remains to be seen how good the ms wheels gonna be w/fm2...
 
a bit of topic, but my tv will be here sometime this weekend or next:D and then my mates nuying myn and im going straight to eb to by my microsoft wireless wheel and put down my deposite on my forza 2 lm.

is the wheel angled from the base? becouse my cockpit thing i made was made for my G25 so it's on quite an angle to make the wheel nearly level.
 
i can't remember sorry it was a few months ago. there are those vids with 12+ cars on track at super speedway(they are really old and of gthd i think but still.).

do i get the wirless wheel or dirt? or do i sit and hope a descent deal comes up used? i don't know. Ive got exams for the last 2 weeks of this month so i'm happy forza 2's been delayed over here now. The demo is sposed to be getting certed now so it should be out next week some time...just in time fo my TV and xbox:D it's gonna take a while to download, as my xbox only downloads crackdown at 2% an hr, it's at 76% atm but my xbox is going away again tomorrow to get it's new lights...

Well by the time GT5 comes out Forza 3 will be out and I am sure it will have 12-16 cars too. :sly: Besides even if GT5 had 12-16 cars on the track (which isnt confirmed) Forza 2 still has WAY more options that I have already listed. Anyway we all know they will keep pushing the GT5 date over and over again like GT4. GT4 was pushed for over 14 months from the original release date.

Some retailers have GT5 down in the UK for March 2008, which means FM3 will most likely come out 2 years after GT5 I reckon.
 
GT5 will more than likely be a must buy title as well, and Kaz has confirmed that he will be expanding the tuning possiblities in GT5, he's already mentioned engine swaps, so full powertrain swaps are a possiblity. But Forza 2 is out next month, and GT5 next year. Both games will have their merits and their shortfalls, I just hope that GT5 is actually enjoyable to play, because GT4 didn't hook me. I doubt Forza 3 will be out when GT5 is, but I think Camaroboy's comment was said in jest. A friendly dig at PD's release dates.

PD want to add damage to GT5, but I be getting both GT5 and FM2.

We all know GT5 will not be coming out on that release date. lol Come on TVR even you should know better than that.
Yes my Forza 3 comment was all in fun. We know that GT dates always get pushed. GT4 was pushed over 14 months from the original release date.

The old Forza vids had 12 cars on track too, plus cars that aren't in the final game, however I do expect that by the time GT5 is released we should be expecting minimum 12 cars on track.

When anyone sets up a GTP Forza Motorsport 2 Car club, please let me know, because the FM2 Car club I am running for another forum would like some clubs to race, a couple months after FM2 is out.

Yeah, I'm waiting too. I guess from the latest impression of X360 racing games like FM2 and TDU, I guess when you say, April or May, or any other month, it means it'll be released at the very end of that month. Or in TDU's case, the following month or so.
 
It's getting to the point where I don't even know why they bother to even announce a release date. :rolleyes: How many games/updates that people have been anticipating which have a release date have actually been on time??

What I want to know if how Che's FM2 Career is going, because he said he would update it every pitpass.
 
ye man these forza "lovers" are slack:(

they need to give it to a few select racer(bljk members etc) on the condition every 3 days or so they update the community on there current proggress.
 
well after that last video... the waiting is freakin' torture.. i'm getting more and more psyched for this game. Haven't felt anything like this in a long time.
 
Someone over there must really like me. We get to start the game with a 69 Camaro. :) :dopey: It will probably handle like crap but oh well it will be fun to drive.
Those screen shots look great. It also looks like they are finally getting the polish and final touches on the wheels. Some of those wheel pics are starting to look very good.
EDIT: Oh wait the first place price is a 69 Camaro.
