Anyone know if the store Ross Records sell games anymore? I remember years ago they would sell games early quite frequently. I should be going to find the new store in Portsmouth next week, so I need to ask if anyone else has checked before I do so.
 
I was just wondering.... How about a thread describing your Auction House cars? I don't believe there is a description option in game, so if you want to see what the little details about the cars you have for sale, without having to go into the Forza 2 menus. You could either give it a straight forward specification sheet, or make it like your own little advertisement! :D
( I thought of this after seeing a suggestion thread on the Forza Motorsport forums)

Ok, I have a car up for sale now on the Auction House, heres a description;

2005 Keller Project Racing Stallion​

Base Car: 2005 Mustang GT

Horsepower: 450 BHP

I'd say its worth doing, just to give those of us here a heads-up on what we've got. I mean, I'd be much happier selling one of my cars to a fellow GTPer than some random dude on XBOX Live, and it would be interesting to see what each of us are building up, and what we could offer to the community here.

...Chances are that most of my cars will be American or European, pretty modest power figures, with more or less an emphasis on the chassis than just the engine. Well, only on some of the cars. I still have a thing for taking the old Muscle cars, cramming NASCAR-spec gear ratios in them, and running them against the standard high-performance coupes and sedans from today.

I'm pretty sure we'll do something. Although, we've just got to wait for the game to come out...

lol how could you not be? unless you from america where it's only like a 3-4 day wait. I'm jealous as all hell, ive been waiting for so long, but i can wait, it's not the end of the world.

Well, yeah I live in the US so I just have to wait until Tuesday... but nonetheless, his bragging is just immature.
 
i'm up for the auction house, i'll be putting up some initial d car's, day of release i'll have a trueno up for about 18k(depend's pn the stock price) stock with the kanji down the right side(all the ones ive seen on forza 2 board's at the moment are on the left lol), and later on i'll have the yellow fd, white fc, and eg civ(paint up the front kit like i did in forza 1, to make more "holes" etc).

they will only be a couple K above retail...... for GTP'ers:D

i'll then go onto making my agentorange "I DORI I" s15 from the dorimon's, took me 9hr's on the 1st forza but i couldn't make it exact from the layer limit's. http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=119184&st=60 go to post 64, it lives not to far from me. I'll be making quite a few of the dorimons(drift monsters) car's, i'm just hoping the s13 has some kit's:( all the photo's so far have had none...

after that i'll be remaking my original's from forza 1 and some newy's in forza 2.

lol in forza 1 they had the nOsLiW and teamforza, or something like that, that gave you all car's or all money. I hope it's not true.....it's too tempting, i wanna try out a jza80 and r34 and see what sort of power they can get.

They're getting deleted because Che said the team removed all and any cheats/glitches.

If you want it the day it comes out pre order, if you can wait 2 or 3 days don't bother. I only pre order games I really want.
 
I've only pre-ordered consoles. I've realized that pre-ordering games is completely pointless unless you want some type of goodie that comes packaged with the pre-order. I've never had a hard time finding a game i've wanted on its launch date.
 
neither, only game i preordered was tdu to get the gallardo coupe and so they would ring me when it came in(lucky i did....came out 8 day's early:D).

gonna preorder forza2 lce tomorrow as if i do i get $10 off it so it becomes $100....$20 cheaper then gt4 on release and $5 cheaper then the normal edition lol.
 
Just to let everyone know that my local Blockbuster video store has started selling Forza 2 early. Apparently a local GAME store had sold a few copies so they decided to sell theirs. I've sent the Missus down to pick up a copy. I might get a couple more to sell on if anybody is interested. Suppose it'll save a few more days waiting.
 
Finally gone Live after buying a router. Only taken a year with my 360 as well!

Got silver with one month's free Gold trial.

Is there any point in d-loading the demo when the game is so close to launch?
 
1 and a half weeks, yes. It's definitely worth it, it'll also give you an idea of the cars handling too.

make sure you have cookies always accepted for that site, i found when i had it set to always block cookies, i could never sign in.
 
Oh great. If you bought pre ordered it from Gamestop/EB games/Bestbuy, or pretty much any place like that thats closed on Memorial day, You have to wait till the 30th.... :ouch:

I called EB today. They were open and told me that they will have it Wednesday. The shipping company is most likely to blame for the delay.
