Yeah. It's weird. It'll almost no-clip through the wall.

Almost? It will clip through if you let it roll long enough, right outside onto a grassy field.

How do you get the ribbon for the test track to go through the containers? I only have the basic, walled-in loop on free play.

You have to go access it through the test drive menu or through the tag hopper. The only way to get the photos is in test drive, though.
