Is it just me or did the latest update change split time info for the worse? I'm getting the impression that split time gaps are now always being compared to the first lap and not the best lap. :odd:
I haven't noticed. Maybe it's just you.

I'm going to make a nitpik about the car dealership in FM7; why is the 2009 HSV w427 located under Holden rather than HSV? All of the other HSV cars are there, but not this one. It makes no sense. If Turn 10 is going to put it there since it's a Holden, then it defeats the purpose of making HSV separate from Holden in this game.

I just ran a few laps while trying out a car and they were working as normal.

I haven't noticed. Maybe it's just you.

I did some more tests and it's definitely working as it always did. However, I'm not entirely convinced there's no sporadic glitch. On at least three different occasions since yesterday I haven't been able to make sense of split timer. My laps are consistent after all, but maybe it's just me getting lost in some of the sessions.

Thanks for the feedback.

Does anyone know where this picture was taken? What track? What turn?

Honestly with upgrading and tuning the Odyssey is a good track weapon lol and I can't believe I just said that. T10 knew what they were doing, it's a fun fat piece of machinery.

Is this limited to FM7 or are the other games also affected?

I believe that every Forza title has had some sort of "unlocking" issue, but this recent bug occurs in Forza Horizon 3 and Forza Motorsport 7.

I don't know what the bug is or how to replicate it, just passing the word on that something is happening that could unlock shared designs.

Is the issue as a result of the recent patch? Or is this a vulnerability from the beginning that hackers have just now exploited. Please keep us posted with any info. I don't have anything worth stealing. But my hopes and concerns are for the artists who's hard work and dedication are at risk. Good Luck to all.

Anyone else notice how buggy the telementary is now? It's especially noticeable one the suspension and the HP counter really lags behind.

Word about it got out over the weekend, so it could be update-related.

I've also read that a different exploit has been around since Forza Horizon 3: Blizzard Mountain.

@JPinto @ClydeYellow and other painters, a heads up.

I was already told by my FIT mates, but thanks for the heads up. Personally it's not something that terribly affects me (if some of my vinyl groups aren't up on the storefront for all to copy it's either because they suck or because I forgot, and I wish people didn't have to go through all the trouble of tracing them!), but I can see how people may be frustrated by this, and T10 really ought to sort the issue out quickly.

Hopefully a ban wave will follow, and I have the faint hope it will be permanent console bans we'll be talking about.

Got the game yesterday, having fun so far. I was actually able to buy some of the specialty dealer cars (458, Sagaris, Legacy B4). I also got two NASCAR vehicles.

Which actually leads me to a question: anyone know where I can find some of the Burnout Oval Racer Special schemes? I tried looking for them on one of the NASCARs, but had no luck.

FM6's home spaces were infuriating. Then again it was the first time I realized that the camera wasn't positioned to be perpendicular to the ground, but locked on to the body of your car. I never investigated if this happened in prior versions of Forza, but I suspected it did.
Another thing that bugged me, was that I had no say in where I wanted to place the car in photo mode. Why on earth were we stuck in the shade with the Rio home space, and why is the make-shift garage so darn dark? At first I thought that was a night time theme, until I noticed broad daylight behind the car. What was Turn 10 thinking?

You'd think that they'd want to show off their car models, graphics, and lighting with a gamut of areas and positions to place the cars in. But, like a typical console, you have to play how they want you to. I gave up on painting the instant I saw the area I had to use. The lighting was intolerable for me.

The painting and Livery editor are far too cumbersome for me to do more than text and simplistic designs. Painting in Forza needs an overhaul.
Oh yeah, exactly! I love the functionality, moving the camera, zooming in/out, different perspectives, etc. etc. But why didn't anyone think to shed some more light on it???? They spent so much time, duplicating the "garage feel", but never stopped to consider that, if we're painting or putting decals on we might want some more light!

The light is one aspect. General work flow is broken with the decal editor especially. It's cumbersome and menu laden with a controller, but with KB&Mouse, it becomes an exercise in frustration. Turn 10 should take a good hard look at the tools they use in Photoshop, and how that program uses short cuts and on screen layout. The way it is now, one has to tab way too much. And that's even on a controller. Not to mention that none of the placement options exist outside a menu.

I want to say, it would be better if Turn 10 used AutoCAD as inspiration for the livery editors work flow... But I doubt many people used AutoCAD, or would know what I mean.

Oh, I use the X-box controller. I had no idea.
