It should start downloading after that.
After watching the most recent Forza Monthly livestream, Chris Esaki has got to be one of the most passionate members of Turn 10 Studios. He mentioned that he really wanted to improve the multiplayer aspects of Forza Motorsport 7.
Yeah updates definitely don't go live that early. It's usually 10am PST or 1pm EST.I have to do this again.
I just spent the good part of an hour looking for this advice. I'm coping it into a log book of mine, that way I don't have to search through hundreds of unrelated Google searches about Forcing Forza 7 to Update on PC. LOL
:edit:
I know I am jumping the gun a bit. What time does the November Update go live? I am about to read FM.net's announcement about it. Maybe the answer will be there, but if not then I am thinking it should go live at 8:00 AM PST. I could be wrong.
Yeah, that is the same vibe I get from him. I hope the Race Regulations really improve the online aspect. Perhaps adding an incentive to race with out incurring a penalty would help? But still... Before I go making suggestions, I want to see the changes. Something tells me that Race Regulations will take a giant step in the right direction, for the Forza Motorsport series.
At times like this, I wish Turn 10 was located in Greenwich England.Yeah updates definitely don't go live that early. It's usually 10am PST or 1pm EST.
Damn - guess they're not finished with Polyphony Digital yet lol. After watching the most recent Forza Monthly livestream, Chris Esaki has got to be one of the most passionate members of Turn 10 Studios. He mentioned that he really wanted to improve the multiplayer aspects of Forza Motorsport 7.
Are you serious ? That's just stupid, why on Earth would they do that, it clearly belongs in the prototype group racing division smh. WowJust found out the 917/30 is in the Forza Specials division, rather than being with the other Can-Am and prototype cars.
I honestly think Turn 10 should just stop adding cars to this game if this is how they're going to treat them.

They could have taken the easy route and added a restrictor plate to homologate it to the Prototype Group Racing division like they did with certain Hypercars (the Regera loses almost 1,000 HP alone from homologation).Didn't that car more or less kill Can-Am racing because it was too fast for any of its competitors?

So good to hear they're working on the AI for the future and making them use better lines and less "gimmicks" for want of a better word relating to the ridiculous power increase they get at higher levels. I've been doing a bit of testing recently with the stock Audi RS3 where I would run a 1 hour race with the unbeatable AI and at the end compare my best clean lap time to the AI, I've done this for 19 of the tracks, I was going to go all the way but I hear there is a 1500hp Porsche to try and tame now. I think I'm decent at the game and have run fair times across the different tracks but seeing how the AI performance varies between tracks is staggering. My times are in the middle, with AI best lap in italics at the end of each line:
Mount Panorama they were 10.6 seconds per lap slower than me and it's not exactly one of my best tracks, while Catalunya they actually managed to record a best lap 0.3 faster than I could reach within the hour, meanwhile I finished some 15 seconds up the road after having started in dead last on a 24 car grid. Another observation was that if I didn't interfere with the AI they wouldn't race but instead continuously lap as a train of cars, usually once I had passed a car they would then finish the race in that position (although with identical cars I can't say I'm too surprised). At COTA they would gain around 2 seconds on the back straight alone with the power advantage they have, so I assumed I would stand no chance at Le Mans but it turns out their driving line is awful from Indianapolis all the way to Tertre Rouge which made things a lot easier.
Or to cut a long story short, the variance in AI's speed is ridiculous, hope they manage to get on top of it.
Agreed. The Forza Specials is like a junk pile. What's the point if you can't race it against other similar cars from it's real division. Only choice is to race it class based. Which is what I have done to basically the entire Forza Specials division. Which I now have to with all the Hot Wheels cars as well. Whats' the deal with the Rip Car? its at D400? Why?Are you serious ? That's just stupid, why on Earth would they do that, it clearly belongs in the prototype group racing division smh. Wow

Well there is one way around it and that's to set buckets. One bucket make only the Porsche 917/30 and the other make it for the other can am cars.Agreed. The Forza Specials is like a junk pile. Interesting, I just checked to verify and you're right. All mine that I used to have on there are just completely gone now. Kind of disappointed with the site in general. First Horizon 4 photos aren't allowed to be 4K when put on their site, and now they've completely removed any way to get any older photos off the site.Where are my photos going? I took several pics today of the new cars, using the in-game photomode rather than screencaps. But they're not in my gallery on the Forzamotorsport.net site. Only my FH4 pics are shown and it's called "PopuluxeCowboy's Horizon 4 Gallery." No photos from H1, 2 or 3, or pics from FM3, 4, 5, 6 or 7.
There's no option on the Forzamotorsport site to switch between galleries, but you can get around it by specifying the gallery like this:Interesting, I just checked to verify and you're right.
