I just noticed the test track has no "open" version anymore... Bummer. That's where I took my new cars for a spin. Also no testing cars anymore... So I can't play Top Gear hotlapping to compare my cars :(

Does anyone else experience an issue with car thumbnails displaying default manufacturer colors despite having purchased the cars in different colors? I'm only talking about the small thumbnails seen in menus. Actual car colors show up correctly outside the thumbnails.

Odd to remove the open airstrip space. Can't you hotlap your cars on Top Gear in Free Play though?

Can anybody who has the game please answer:
In free play-
How many buckets are available?
Do you still have 23 Ai cars on track?
Any way you can race against your own garage cars??
Thanks in advance...

You can race cars you own in your Garage (the only way to earn money and XP in arcade/free play) and you can race up to 23 opponent cars, but I never really paid attention to the "buckets".

Ok can you race against your other garage cars??...Sorry I wasn't clear on that one thanks...

Nope, but you can choose and freely experiment the rules regarding cars under "Car Restrictions" somehow.
Damn ...... It....... The greatest toys are always in the packages that cannot be opened...Maybe next year... Thanks for the info....

Also regarding the Formula E's they aren't just copy paste jobs from what I've seen so far (might investigate further), the Panasonic Jaguar has a 2 speed gearbox stock, but the homologated version has the race gearbox which is a 5 speed.

Worth doing the research if you plan on racing them. ;)
They seem more planted than they did in the last game, especially off-throttle; I chose the 2017 car and it felt like a go-kart.

They'd be good cars for a GTP series ;)

So I took some pics but they're not on fm.net so where are they?!

The game technically isn't out yet, but if past experience is anything to go by that feature will be unlocked on Tuesday.

After yet another failed download on PC yesterday (in total I downloaded approx. 300Gb of data in a couple of days to my SSD without getting the game installed), I gave up and went and bought a new Xbox One & G920 wheel to get to play the game. Downloaded to Xbox in about 3 hours.

Really enjoying the game so far. This is the career mode I've been waiting years for, very very happy. Even if the game has cost me £480 now :ouch:

Enjoying the game a lot so far, liking the new career mode, is it my or does the game feel very Americanized??

What is the point of the upgrade shop when you can't fully work your cars because it's no longer in its class and every car you buy is ready to race in this class
Most cars always moved out of their class if you did much to them. The difference now is the classes. I still have not determined what happens when a car goes out of its assigned class. Does it qualify for a different class or no class at all. I may experiment a bit and see. Many of the cars can be upgraded quite a bit, it is just that the auto upgrade goes ahead and takes it close to the top of its class automatically. You can remove some of those parts and swap them for others to get better performance or when you buy a car you can choose to buy it stock instead of auto upgraded.

There used to be a class racing meaning class e to class r now that's no longer in the game I thought it will come back but It didn't now the only game that you can use a fully worked car in now is the Horizon series
But saying all that I do like the divisions in the game but I would have loved if they brought back the class division so you can race any car as long as the class matched

I would like to see the classes brought back as well but will wait and see if they give us open rivals for these new classes and how they work out. I see some potential with the new class system allowing more cars to be competitive than before. It may even be possible to set top leaderboard times in the old muscle cars without putting 1000hp in them with no grip

In Forza Motorsport 7, we’ve built tracks with a central goal in mind: Making every time you return to a track a unique experience.

Every time isn't a unique experience though. There are different conditions every now and then, but I have seen the exact same setting a few times now.

Enjoying the game so far, the weather effects look stunning, probably some of the best I've seen in any game on the standard Xbox. Car sounds are pretty decent as well.
Homologation restrictions in this game don't bother me too much but I can see how those who like to race standard vehicles could find it annoying.
Just driving the classic open wheeler's at the moment and they are a proper handful.:D

Well, no point in me using Unbeatable then...

I’m using unbeatable and also noticed some weird behaviour in some races. I’ve won all the races apart from the last three in the first Hot Hatch series where the AI seemed to have a ridiculous speed advantage to me on the straights. I managed to scrape 5 or 6 place in each race but had to do some tactical blocking on straights.

Is anyone else getting a bug were when you sometimes start Forza 7 it crashes on the title screen and completely switches your Xbox off?

Also how in the heck do you implement Groove? Is that a feature that they decided to can?

Yea... Happend to me once when i first booted up the game today, though oohhh no! but it came back alive just fine.

Weirdly this only happens when my physical copy of Forza 6 isn't in my XB1. Hasn't crashed once with my FM6 disc in. Happens 75% of the time with it out.

Woke up early this morning, so I turned on my PC and let it download. It's been running for two hours and it's at 64 Gigs. Might have it done this weekend.

I came across this on twitter, wow some weird costumes can be unlocked! Scary....:scared:

Ok, only got less than 10 gigs to go. Might get it finished later tonight when I get back from WWE Live.
